and some women are from Mars.
If you are empowered to change your gender at your will, will you like to be in your present state or change to opposite gender?
Who is better positioned in present society?
Anatomically and psychologically who is better? explode

I would gladly change my gender to a man. Tired of not being able to do what I want without being put down by men or called a feminist because I want equal rights or being called selfish because I didn't bear children, or being called emotional just because I am a woman. And people wonder why I can't be bothered to date. Men are definitely better position in present society. They don't have to worry about crap like make up, high heels, dresses, have monthly problems, don't have to shave legs/arm pits; don't have to keep their weight down, pay less for clothing and haircuts; don't have to pretend to act like they need to be protected(the weaker sex crap) or taken care of, don't get talked downed to by contractors, or expected to be the nuturing type.

I will stay a guy, I have never felt a desire to be something I am not.

I think it's about even in the USA, but other countries have some serious issues.

You can't objectively say that one sex is better than another.

I can't speak for other countries....but here, everyone is pretty much equal. Man or woman makes no difference. Blaming society may be legitimate in alot of the world. Around here it makes no difference. If someone wants something and is willing to work hard and perservere through hardships and adversity, you can have anything you want. The big thing that limits most Americans is the lack of self respect and an increased sense of entitlement. Everyone wants things but, not many people are willing to shed blood sweat and tears and go through the hassles that could lead to fulfillment.

I dig being a guy but, I wouldn't have the slightest problem with being woman in todays American society. I know just as many successful women as men.

Actually I have read many threads/posts here by men from the USA and I would have the same issues in the states as in Canada.

Do they make you wear a burkha and not let you drive?

(I never been to Canada)

Yeah, reading your list of complaints, there is only a couple complaints that aren't choices by women. It's kind of unfair to blame men for you having a period, don't you think? Or that you want to grow your hair long and it therefore costs more to take care of? I have a lesbian friend with a buzz cut, she probably pays $10 at a male barber, what is stopping you? Maybe you should stop blaming the opposite sex or the things you do in order to make yourself more attractive to them.

Hmm, maybe you should re-read my post as you tell so many on this site. I didn't blame men for my period; I blame them for how I am treated which was the first part of my post. The second part is why I don't like being a woman. I am not blaming just stating a fact that is what men want or expect from a woman. You may not like hearing that; but its a fact. Just like men always say a woman wants them for money; the street goes both ways don't you think? Or is it that you are a perfect man?

Not yet. laugh Just wish the pay scale in both Canada and the States were equal for women to men. Just read the stats on the US and I see women are not paid equally for the same work as men. Of course; we have the same problem here.

Men are definitely better position in present society. They don't...have monthly problems...

I'm just no clear on how society can be blamed for periods. Hey, if anything, men can eliminate those for you for 10 months.

Attraction is all that men sees, a woman can’t talk and be listened to unless she has some pull in some kind of way… A woman is open to listening whereas if a man thinks he’s right he won’t listen unless it’s worth his time… I have went about public looking like crap just to see what would happen and they won’t even notice me or if they do it’s to holler go do something to yourself… When I dress normal then all they want to do is talk to me to get something from me…

But I can't say I would want to be a man because I like being a female I just wish men would treat us the same way they would want to be treated... Not just a walking Sex Bank

Okay; lets try this one more time for you. I said you are in a better position in society because you don't have to endur those problems. I am not blaming society for what mother nature has done. You are reading way too much into my general comment. I swear to God; you just love to argue about nothing.

And what a wonderful day indeed that will be for all women. I am writing a book about the battles I fought to just be accepted as an equal especially in the military.

See, I have a problem with this. I don't see this behavior from men towards women. And it's not just because I'm a man. I've never seen women treated badly for their sex in public. Maybe you two have just been around the wrong types of guys. The company I work for is run by a woman. VP of IT for years was a woman. Many of the power positions in the company I work for are held by women. I just don't see the sexism, so I have to assume that you guys are around the wrong type of men.

Don't take this wrong ladies, cuz this is not directed at any one woman but to all women.....alot fewer guys want to have sex with you than you may think. Same for guys.

We ALL want to be treated as equals. Some people DON'T let people talk down to them and walk all over them. Some people do. (men AND women)

It got nothing to do with having a penis or a vagina. It is about a person standing up for themselves and not taking any crap off of anyone.

If your theory was true, I would be the king of Texas cause I got a penis that would make a donkey blush.

Just because you don't see sexism in public; doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I am happy to hear the the women in your company are treated equally but sadly that is not the norm.
