Topic: Newt Gingrich Cheated on His Wives

If Newt Gingrich runs for president, as he's expected to do, he won't be the only candidate in the Republican primary field with three marriages under his belt. Buddy Roemer, the former Louisiana governor who has already formed an exploratory committee, shares that distinction, as does Donald Trump, who claims he may run. But Gingrich has an extra burden in his efforts to explain his marital history to socially conservative primary voters. Gingrich didn't just get divorced, he also cheated on both of his first two wives. And furthermore, he left both of them when they were sick. As Talking Points Memo's Josh Marshall recaps today:

Let's remember, Newt famously dumped wife #1 for wife #2 while wife #1 was in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery. As in literally went to the hospital to present her with divorce papers while she was recovering from surgery for uterine cancer.

He eventually dumped wife #2 for wife #3 shortly after wife #2 was diagnosed with MS back in 1999. And he was having the affair on wife #2 with wife #3 while he was turning the country upside down trying to drive Bill Clinton from office over his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

ACTUALLY it was nailing Bill Clinton for honesty and purjury(which also got Clinton disbarred, Impeached by Congress AND when he regains his law license can never practice in front of the Supreme Court).

the perjury and obstruction of justice charges were both defeated in the impeachment

he did have to give up his license for five years and give up his opportunity in the supreme court

guess he should have just said "i dont recall'

lol

but back to the OP

throughout history, men have been raised in cultures in which women were objectified, even by women themself

and where sex was a 'game', a right, and an indication of 'manliness'

many great LEADERS have come up with that mentality, one has little to do with the other

dont marry a cheater, but dont pass up a cheater for other legitimate jobs just because they have a screwy (usually culturally supported) view of sex and or marriage,,,

That wasn't an isolated incident and thats a problem. How about the attempted rape while he was Governor that was arranged by his state trooper detail or how about Ms. Flowers or even the murder of Vincent Foster................I dont believe in coincidence.

slaphead

During the deposition for the Jones lawsuit, which was held at the White House, Clinton denied having sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky – a denial that became the basis for the Lewinsky scandal and the president's subsequent impeachment charge of perjury. On November 18, 1998, Clinton agreed to an out-of-court settlement, and agreed to pay Jones and her attorneys a sum of $850,000.00. Clinton denies ever engaging in a sexual affair with her.

Gennifer Flowers, Elizabeth Ward Gracen, Sally Perdue, and Dolly Kyle Browning each have reported having adulterous sexual relations with Clinton during or before his service as governor. Gracen later apologized to Hillary Clinton. Dolly Kyle Browning alleged that she and Clinton engaged in a long sexual affair. Browning began writing a "semi-autobiographical novel" about the affair. In the publication process, Browning asserted that Clinton did everything in his power to prohibit and undermine publication. Browning sued Clinton for damages, but the US Court of Appeals denied her appeal.

Dont forget Monica and Paula!

the alleged rape that happened when one grown woman went to one grown mans HOTEL room?

yeah, well I dont believe in that type of naivety in a 'successful' businesswoman anymore than you believe in coincidence,,,apparently

and the death of a man suffering clinical depression by gunshot to the mouth,,with no other bruises or scars, in a public park,

doesnt cause me to see conspiracies

Actually he wasn't suffering from depression and was due to testify against the Clinton's before Congress. Not to mention he had been banging Hillary for over ten years when they worked together at the law firm.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about Ron Brown. Both Democrats and Republicans believe Clinton was involved in this one as well being Brown was being investigated for corruption and was set to testify against Clinton.

If it walks like a duck...............

Oh yeah and so what if she was a successful business woman, she was lured there under false pretences and just because Slick Willy Clinton said nothing happened doesn't mean squat because he is a convicted liar.

I AM SURE the topic of this thread is Newt the republican front runner for president.

How sad he treated his wives so bad leaveing them when they are sick.

I am sure it is telling of his character.
