Maybe you should think of yourself as a product you are trying to sell. What kinds of ads get your attention? They have personality, right? They aren't flat, monotone and just a list of ingredients or uses, correct? They might show and tell you those things, but they also make them seem fun and exciting and like you want to find out more. Open your profile and pretend you don't know the person. Would your profile make you want to find out more about that person? Would you be thinking ... Wow! I want to get to know him better and be his friend! Probably not. Now with this in mind, do you want to rewrite your profile and put more of you into it? Show off your most wonderful sides! Ask questions. Draw us in and make us curious, make us unable to resist talking to you. If you want more advice ask.

It's definitely not easy trying to get to know people, especially online. I haven't had any luck on either site I have been to. I know I am new to this one, but I have been on the other for a couple months, without a single response. I'm probably doing something wrong, or didn't put enough into my profile but its hard to describe myself lol. Anyway, you just have to keep tryin! And the forums seem to be working somewhat :P Good luck!

ho wmany emails have you sent out?? and how many mutal matches did you see?? Rome was not bulit in a day you have to keep trying.

I wish more people would realize how beneficial the forums are to helping meet people! No weeding thru inactive profiles and such...

Agreed that's the 1st thing I noticed when I joined and wish more people would come here. Those of you that are here though are awesome. Dude....you so should upgrade, do the mutual match thing, and when you email chicks, talk about butt sex. Win-Win! How does mutual match help with the upgraded member ship? I am uncertain of if it is worth it or not and would like feedback from those who have it, or who have had it and no longer do.
