Hello everyone! Well I'm back today for prayers for myself this time. I went to the doc today who told me I have a growth under my eyelid which could end up causing vision problems if it continues to grow. He gave me antibiotics for the eye and then told me to see an opthamologist and I will have to have this cut out. Now I am praying the antibiotics will take care of the lump.... it's not impossible but doc didn't seem real sure it would happen. With God all things are possible and I sure can pray. My lil one with down syndrome needs me to take care of him. My doc also wants me to have bloodwork done for diabetes. My mom is a type 2 diabetic. I'm hoping the test comes out negative.
Good news is I lost fifteen pounds and I wasn't even trying. I think the stress has done it. My mom is doing okay. It's been one thing after another around here. My lil guy had bronchitus and was coughing for weeks. sigh. Well, thank you in advance. Suz |

Thank you for the prayers! So far the antibiotics haven't done much in getting rid of the growth beneath my eye lid. I'm still praying.
Although I sat back thinking how my lil one had heart surgery at three... so who am I to whine about getting a growth cut out of my eyelid? |

Hun,
I know anything more at this point is just adding insult to injury but hang in there. Be honest with your Doc and he will do the best he can to help you.If one medicne doesn't do it they will find another or the surgery will. All this eye junk is a drag for sure; halfway through here and now have to wait but mosto f this eye stuff is really pretty "fixable ( lol bear with me probably a better word but you know what I mean. Hey at least you usually get some great shades out of the deal . Maybe even meet a cute doctor type, Keep my fingers crossed for you. AND OF COURSE already praying for you...me |

Well it's been a week and the antibiotics aren't getting rid of the lump under my eyelid. I'm just glad my father taught me to try and find the laughter in everything. I was thinking IF worst comes to worst and I end up having surgery... I can always throw a pirate party where we can all wear eye patches! Celebrating life... whatever the circumstances is always a good thing esp when I'm raising this precious angel born with Down syndrome, TWO holes in one eye, and two holes in his heart.

Hello friends! The growth under my eye lid is still there. I went to see a opthamologist and it seems as though this growth is questionable as to what it is for sure. I asked if it could be herpes and was told that it is possible, but to try compresses, herpes meds, and other drops for my eyes four times a day for two weeks. Friday was day one. I'm thinking at this point I can still see.... so I need to count the blessing of that. I wish the growth would miraculously go away. To make my stress even worst, I was hit with more papers for a mediation hearing to have child support reduced. Then he hit me with an email saying IF I just allowed him to take my son then things might get easier. My thoughts were 'manipulation'.
He has supervised vistiation due to abuse in the past. I've fought for my child. I need a really good lawyer who can play hard ball. |

The State will provide a lawyer < if my experience is any indicator they are highly skilled, for any disabled chile under federally funded Protection and Advocay under the Nental Health and retaardations Services. . I am wondering if you have applied for a Katie Becket waiver to be convered by your states Mediciaal Care program regardless of your financial status given his catestropic medical expensies.. |
