Because chatting is not important brother. The women on this site actually want more than a line or two. They like to actually get to know what you really think. That is why these forums work so well.

Take my word for it....the more you join in discussions....the more these fine ladies can know you. The more they know you...the more they will talk to you.

Welcome to the site my good man.

With all the crazy stuff going on in the world, maybe posting and emailing first is a bit easier to get to know someone before comfortable enough to chat. Maybe then the relationship can move up to chat, phone calls, ect.

I think we could safely re-name Krapa with something like The "LOVE GURU" of Mingle2 LOL hey no offense my man but i tend to agree with Daffeh7 its kinda like everyone is scared to chat because they think its going to be cybersex talk or something scarey ! And to say chatting is not important ! well brother if I took a particular interest in a lady in this forum I think it would be childish/rude to reject the invite to privately chat. Even if to explain how scared they were of the GURU judging them as a sexual deviant ! Dont you think there is a place for open forums and private chatting,after-all both have a social purpose.

Yeah...the new ones always come in looking to pick a fight. (I did too when I first started)

If you want to chat em up...good for you....go for it. I was simply referring to the patterns I have seen here over the past 4 years.

Humm all I can say is if your complaining about someone not chatting with you then you must be doing something wrong...

It all depends how you word your words you send a e-mail that just says hi and nothing else there is nothing to chat about..It all depends on the person that sends the e-mails or what they say in the forums make it worth talking about instead of complaining what your not getting...

There is nothing worse them those that complain about things, and they don't try to be part of the solution instead of the problem...noway

So you are saying you think it is rude/childish if out of the blue you ask for a private chat with someone and they reject you for it?

It absolutely depends upon how you compose yourself and how much contact you actually have with this individual. Not everyone here is interested in private chatting, nor are they required to be.

To an extent, I agree Mr. Daffeh. The women that I know from this site are generally very cautious and only chit chat with people that they are already comfortable with.

In theory we should chat and make small talk before moving on to deeper discussions. In reality, most of these people prefer a longer conversation in which to know the man you are before deciding to chat.

It may sound strange but, it isnt wrong.

I think we could name him that too!

But not every woman you take an interest too in this forum needs to respond to you, and there's nothing rude about that.

Shux...I don't mind a chat when the mood hits, but if there is even a hint of sexual innuendo/overtones, I'll kick your glutes out of my cyberspace, because I'm not interested in humping anybody here, nor do I want them to even think that I am gagging for it.

There's a whole A to Z of stimulating convo to gloss over.
