My two bits: The man in the OP's story isn't a hero, and the woman isn't a victim.

I concur

Nonsense, if a woman I'm seeing becomes pregnant, I'm using this exact same tactic.

the tactic is cowardly and juvenile and selfish and irresponsible

He was slick.
He could have saved himself a lot of time, money and trouble if he had just followed Bill's example.

Have her swallow.

He was sick? It was her that killed her baby for a trip.

She gets a pass to kill if she's a liberal.

No form of birth control is 100% effective.

As long as abortion is legal, why bother?

I have no moral problems with it. I've already paid for two.

Yeah, why bother? Why shouldn't I encourage a woman to end a pregnancy with an abortion?

Thousands of people die senselessly every year on out freeways. People die in household accidents. People die all the time and no one cares. Why is abortion any different?

if all death is equal, would it matter if someone you LOVED were nailed by a drunk driver?

after all, by the above logic, people die everyday anyway,,,?

abortion is as 'senseless' as those deahts on the freeways, and that some people care less about human life doesnt mean noone SHOULD care...

How someone dies doesn't matter. Drunk driver, slip in the bathtub. It all means dead. Why should one way be any different than another?

Folks, it does no good for two people to have a philosophical debate when the two have nothing philosophical in common.

But, this isn't a philosophical question. What's the difference between death by abortion and death by war or cancer or old age? Would I miss my mother differently if she'd been hit by a bus or fell off a roof?

What is the difference between an abortion and an execution?

No. I asking why the vehicle of death matters. All death is a tragedy. Why should one be more or less tragic than another?
