If it weren't for the Political Power they wield,they would have been gone the way of the Dodo,linger than the Dodo has been gone! What mysterious political power are you talking about Mr Conrad? Unions have been in decline for decades and are fairly tame and powerless. The only power they yield is voting for against republicans who will only increase the wealth of the 1% and continue the destruction of the middle class. Just be happy your retired in Europe and not forced to earn your healthcare and pension benefits. Its a hard road here in america for everyone except the 1%.

So now these days I am focusing on my own IMPORTATION EXPORTATION BUSINESS TO THE CARIBBEAN. Set up is not going as fast as I would like but with the laws and taxation on both sides to consider the homework alone has taken a lot of time and effort. The payoff begins when I can get my first sea containers full on their way. I am doing pet supplies and other goods the Islands have to import but I have an edge since my business partners are natives to their home Islands. So I am getting my feet wet in INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS. Yes I still do work as a handyman. Yes I still do computer repair. The bills don't pay themselves you know! But as soon as I am really moving goods back and forth I am quitting the handyman gig and not repairing other people's computers. I am looking foreword to a lot of business related travel by Summer of next year. How about you? You get to travel for work, especially to other nations? I can't WAIT to go to the Barbados Islands or the Bahamas!

I guess you just have no more steam left now... This was probably one of the most passive aggressive reply's yet... I am already working on my passport and my business partners are funding me. Now that is what I call real confidence in my capacities. These people witnessed the host of crap I put up with end felt my skills were being wasted. They were right! I like my new JOB MUCH MORE! Mr Conrad every working man and woman has lost purchasing power over the past decade. The only group that has not lost income is the 1% and they have increased allot at the expense of those of us who have lost income. To blame the Unions the only group that does fight for americas working class is absurd. I am curious to know if anyone who is on the recent top management list at Hostess donated to Romney, McCain or any other Republicans in the last two elections. If so it would explain why Obama would step in and put the unions under control and save the 20,000+ jobs that have been lost because of this. If they are shown to have donated to McCain or Romney I could see Obama unleashing his dogs on them to put the final nail on their coffin.

Twinkie CEO Admits Company Took Employees Pensions and Put It Toward Executive Pay Twinkie-maker Hostess continues to screw over its workers. The company is in the process of complete liquidation and 18,000 unionized workers are set to lose their jobs. More troubling – they could lose their pensions. According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, Hostess’ CEO, Gregory Rayburn, essentially admitted that his company stole employee pension money and put it toward CEO and senior executive pay (aka “operations”). While this isn't technically illegal, it's another sleazy theft by Hostess executives - who've paid themselves handsomely while running their company into the ground. Just last month, a judge agreed to let Hostess executives suck another $1.8 million out of the bankrupt company to pay bonuses to CEOs.
