....to write a profile? ...To condense the essence of your being into a few paragraphs? I've traveled pretty well and have met SUCH quality people because of this weird experiment. Do I know my "profile" any better? Perhaps.

It's like the opening line in some club ... The 5 billion things you say afterward are what ultimately counts. That's why you have the friends you have. This place is for comedy anyway.

Everyone once in a while I try and write a profile, but what's the point? The people I know and care about I have met through the forums and that's where they have gotten to know me.

Everyone once in a while I try and write a profile, but what's the point? The people I know and care about I have met through the forums and that's where they have gotten to know me. Every once in a while I remove what I've written in my profile. Then all the emails I get are asking questions that were already answered in my profile and I put it back. It doesn't stop those kind of emails, but it cuts the amount down a bit. Though, then I get emails complaining that my profile is too much to read. Can't win either way.
