So, unlike most Christians, you believe Jesus has returned already and is here now? In the flesh?

When Christians say Jesus is here, or Jesus is everywhere or Jesus in in their heart or in us all, what do they really mean?

I am thinking they mean something symbolic. I am thinking they are talking about the spirit of God, or Love. They are not talking about a man.

So in what way do Christians believe that Jesus will return? As a man of flesh and blood or as a spirit, entity, energy, or state of consciousness?

So if he is here in the flesh, as a man, do you think anyone will recognize him? If a man came up to you and told you he was Jesus, how would you know he was telling the truth?

I do not think he can be recognized because I don't think he would take a fomr like that in the images people have seen,,,,

I think he is mostly a charitable observer,,,,

I think I would need to feel the man was Jesus and know by his actions , words, demeanor,,,etc,,,

Wouldn't it be considered sacrilegious to point to any man and call him Jesus or the Messiah or God?

But the Bible said (I thought) that everyone would see him arrive as he left on clouds...

There are so many different beliefs from so many different denominations that I find them all a little silly if taken literally.

if he were just a man, yes

it wouldn't be on me to call anyone messiah or God, but that wouldn't eliminate the reality of there being Jesus in the flesh or God in the heavens, nor would it be sacrilegious to believe it if/when they express the fact,,,,

that is in revelation, a lot of metaphor in that book of the bible,

I believe in judgment he will be seen, but I don't believe that means he will not or can not be already here on earth before that event,,,,

What do you mean by "just a man?"

Don't all men (humans) have within them the creative spark of the divine? If so, there is no such thing as "just a man."

What makes a flesh and blood human/man/humanoid more than "just a man?" What makes him "a god?"

Miracles? How can you tell a god from "just a man?"

Wasn't Jesus "just a man?" If Jesus was a man, and a god, then why aren't all men also gods?

Didn't the Bible say that Jesus said that we could also do as he has done?

Don't miracles still happen?

by 'just a man' , I mean human, born from the union of a human male and a human female

all humans are the creation of the divine creator, and I still refer to them as man/ mankind

nothing can make a human more than a human

a God, to me, is not born of human flesh and is not restricted to human limitations

I only know of one God, the Creator, I expect man to bleed, to die, to be restricted to scientific and physical boundaries,,,,I don't expect any limitations on God

Jesus was not 'just a man', to me, because he was only carried by a human female and not created from the human flesh but by Gods hands directly

The bible says that if we have the FAITH required, we can do as he has done, or rather, through God we can do what he has done through God

Miracles do still happen

And why should anyone believe that story? It sounds like many of the same myths.

The same was said about many mythical Gods of the past. These stories of virgin births of gods are not confined to Jesus. Rather they are myths or symbolic of something I don't know, but I can not take them seriously.

Unless you want to claim that Jesus was an alien hybred and Mary was abducted and impregnated by a non human entity.

A God? I doubt it.

I see no particular reason to believe any story of immaculate conception.

I am suspicious especially when the same story is told about many other mythical gods.

I also wonder where such a story originated.

your questions are really interesting.read carefully and meditatively Matt 24;1-30 and you see the answers to your question but let me summerise it.Jesus said whole lot of tribulations and tragedies will occur to mark the end of this age and also the coming of Jesus.Earthquakes, nations waring agaist each other, many false christs and prophets with great miracles will rise, iniquities and lawlessness will abound also and even the geniune ones will be decieved, many people's love and fear for God will wax cold, there'll be broken homes and the rising of antichrist, etc.i can go on and on but However Jesus never revealed the exact time but revealed that when these things are happening we should expect His coming and the end of this age.Now if you follow the events happening globally you will agree with me that almost these things are fulfilled,in Middle East,Nations fighting each order, earthquakes here and there, bombing, betrayal, broken homes, sexual abuses by priests and etc.the most interesting is the mark of 666 which has been passed into bills and is about to be implemented by Obama's administration.does it not concern you that the end is very near and Jesus might come any time frm nw?,have we ever thought that one day man will sleep and never wake up?.if the trumpet sounds now, where will we spend our eternity?.therefore Christians must be concerned about our eternity,if He finally comes and His coming might be the next minute, hour, tomorrow or etc,Nobody knows.Only God knows therefore let's fear God and keep His commandment for this is the whole duty of a man.

Jesus left and sent us His Holy Spirit who lives inside of us and H's everywhere with us.therefore in His coming He shall come ln form of a spirit with greater power and glory to gather His saints who shall within the twinkle of an eyes be transformed into spirit when the trumpet shall sound.

Jesus was 100% man and 100% God during His earthly ministry.but after His death and Resurrection,He became fully God and ascended to His Father, while Holy Spirit is with us.Now God can speak thru humans,Nobody can say i'm Jesus or God but God can give a message to somebody for you.Any one who walks up to you and says he's Christ then,he's false or fake. But we must know that Jesus can appear to somebody thru dream, vision, trance and many ways for a particular purpose.but physically God speaks and messages us thru human being
