Anyone feel like their online persona is completely different from their real one?
I'm sure you do, as I do. But what about dating sites, are you different on Mingle2? if so, do you think it is a good thing? |

I'm the same but being in construction for many years I need to keep my potty mouth filter on when I'm online & posting here!

mjaybe so for some but for me am the same both online and off.i don't give false impressions or hide behind them.where i come from we are very much all the same.we shoot from the hip and don't deal with bs or airs and graces lol.we got no time for things like that.people either like us or don't.

 If you feel that way about differing personas and what not then you might be bi-polar or may have created different personalities. That or you just like pretending. Some people look at the internet as a fresh chance to try being something that they aren't. In the end it will never lead you to true happiness as you know that's not really you. So be yourself and stop hiding. |

Some interesting and unexpected replies. It might just be me being younger, but I find it hard to be the center of attention, the one to think of somewhere to go with my mates etc but online I'm really good at speaking, anyone else like this?

It's easier to type than to speak which is why so many people text. Just speak up when you have ideas and say them. Don't focus on what others might think or you'll never say anything and you'll just go along for the ride rather than drive to your destination. |

If you did act differently, you'd be leading people on, as they'd expect the same in person. |
