Yes, I am a younger man. I have pretty much only dated women older than me and it has almost always been good.

Women are like wine, they only get better with age, unfortunately some do not get any smarter.

The irony is that younger women are much easier to pick up.

Older women seem to have too many hangups and baggage.

Women, frailty is thy name...

And you are obviously not too smart posting your low opinion of women here if ur hoping to date.......Catch a clue stupid. Your not winning any brownie points talking about women that way!! Like I said no wonder your single!!

He seems to have a knack for putting his foot in his mouth doesn't he?

Not really, technology is because it gives a women the delusion that she can do whatever a man can, work wise when infact it is machines that have levelled the playing field and physical strength is no longer needed.

Women are still the weaker sex and when technology fails, women will lose their leverage.

Feminism has only been around for a few decades, men have ruled society for millennia and will again.

Technology has devalued men and empowered women but technology cannot be sustainable because it is unnatural grumble

not only does that make no sense (if you read crime statistics the vast majority of violent crime against women is perpetrated by men)

but it is also not the best stuff to be saying on an open forum to attract women, no doubt lol

Oh good Lord..I just ran across this thread..

'Not really, technology is because it gives a women the delusion that she can do whatever a man can, work wise when infact it is machines that have levelled the playing field and physical strength is no longer needed.'

I thought cave men were something of a long forgotten past. As a woman that has done 'man's work ' all her life..all I can say to this man is...get over it!! laugh

i'm too old for humans at this point.... I am at peace, and enjoy my solitude, and the wind caressing the trees with a tattered sky above and the heat of the land below. I am an organic fignewton of your imagination, and appear sporatically to sharpen my senses, then fade off into just being......aware.

Don't see myself being attracted to a younger guy.

It is so much easier to connect with someone who's age is similiar. You have more things in common similiar reference points usually similiar life stages even hobbies.

I am finding a few older guys with young kids; sometimes because they managed to get themself caught as sugar "daddy's" and it is not a situation I feel I should have to help clean up.

I am only mildly into being grandma; not redoing the Mommy track. I raised my kids to stand on their own two feet so I don't see babysitting a couple generations of kids so they can live high on the hog when it is my time to enjoy life.

I am sure there are exceptions for illness and so on but dateing a younger guy who has his kids every weekend or every holiday so I become the odd one out just doesn't sound like a good balance for me.

I don't want a husband who will eventually see me as a patient not a partner because I age ahead of him. They can say all they want about 60 being the new 40 but that is hogwash sooner or later.

For me, 60 is the new 40. But the days of abusing your body by eating all the wrong things, smoking, etc. are over if you want to feel good at 60.

Here is my formula:

At this age, your health has to be your number one priority. Don't drink, don't smoke, don't pig out on junk... and exercise and stretch. Do yoga... the five Tibetan rites. And be careful. Don't do things that could cause injury like over-doing exercise. Go slow and easy and build strength. Try to stay off all drugs, even prescription drugs if you can.

The things that make you grow old are:

1. The thoughts that you think
2. The air that you breathe.
3. The water you drink
4. The food you eat.
5. No exercise.

To stay young:

1. Think pure thoughts. (Good positive thoughts of kindness and love.)

2. Don't smoke, breathe clean air, the purer the better.
3. Drink pure water.
4. Eat real food. (Not processed junk)
5. Do the right exercise to keep your body working.

great post jeanne!flowerforyou

and valuable advice on healthcare at any age!

yoga is a lifesaver, but I have to admit a penchant for the occasional heineken's (like now) or glass of wine ;)

Technology didn't come into play when I served on a military ship built in the 60s. I picked up 90 lb stays; wrestled 200 lb fueling hoses, and did every other job as well as any guy on ship and guess what there was no technology used; it was muscle. I levelled the playing field with my own strength and knowledge not with technology. Its attitudes like yours that make me glad that I gave up on dating and will happily remain single.

women are the weaker sex, huh? Try saying that to a female bodybuilder whos won national championships and challenge her to an arm-wrestling match. The experience will be enlightening to say the least, because the msot you'll leave with is an arm pulled from your socket, lmao!

weaker sex, lol wow, dude.......whew.......good luck with that trope!

Yes! Men have no problem having a younger girlfriend. Why can women not? My last boyfriend was 23 and I am 38 and it was not a age difference that we split up. It is all in the person not the age.
