I only believe in the luck I make.

Sometimes opportunity and skill meets luck.

The way I see it, skill = opportunity, which those who didn't have to work 15 hour days to get that opportunity like to call luck.

When I've worked my butt off for a thing, it belittles my efforts for someone to tell me how lucky I've been.

Fortunately, it also belittles my butt.

Just a thought I had...Aristotle defined luck as the results of a rational agent's actions, and chance as not stemming from rational thought.

Yet....in Vegas we play games of chance in hopes of getting lucky. What would Aristotle have made of THAT!

The irony a luck
I reamember telling story's to friends when I was younger
about getting in trouble with the law on occasions and
at the end they'd always say "are you ever lucky" or "you got a horseshoe up there"
or "f* the horseshoe, you got the whole horse up there"
So they believed a had luck but I would say.
" if I was lucky I wouldn't have gotten caught in the first place! And they'd agree.
