Does that mean butt-sex laws are discriminatory? A rose by any other name is still a rose. Same sex marriage is a joke, it's no more a marriage then a man wereing a dress is a women. Sodomy is not sex either. Sex involves the sexual organs i.e. repoductive organs of both genders. Legalization of same sex marriage is just testament to the American dream world that just cannot deal with reality. I will never recognize same sex marriage. It doesn't matter if you recognize same sex marriage or not. It's still marriage in the states that have legalized same sex marriage. You can pretend it's not all you want, but that's not going to change reality.

That isn't going to change it for anyone, though. never said it would repeated for clarity I can not 'pretend' what a LEGAL marriage is,, the law can describe it how it wants to describe it I can not 'pretend' someone born a male that undergoes surgery isn't a 'legal' woman I can understand though, that it doesn't make them a REAL woman,,,, I can understand that even though same sex may be defined as a LEGAL MARRIAGE it doesn't make it a REAL marriage,,, there is a difference between LEGAL Definitions and natural ones,,,

Many religions consider any legal marriage basically not married. This is for straight couples as well. I married my wife in a courthouse and according to my families religion we are not married. This is why I believe ms harmony specifies "legal marriage" but she can correct me if I am wrong.

Many religions consider any legal marriage basically not married. This is for straight couples as well. I married my wife in a courthouse and according to my families religion we are not married. This is why I believe ms harmony specifies "legal marriage" but she can correct me if I am wrong. Are you married or not? If so, it doesn't really matter what others believe.

I wonder about the adopted children of two homos. They have no say in this. What kind of stigma will that place on them?

Marriage can only be between s man and a woman just like conception can only be between a man and a woman. It's delusional to try and fit same sex relationships within that catagory. A man who wears a dress can be legally a woman but that does not change the fact that it is a man. I remember when I was introduced to the homosexual world while watching the movie, Deliverance. "Sooweeeeee!" "You got a purdy mouth." No it has gone global and legal but that does not make it any less wrong.

It will be interesting to see the divorce rate of gay marriages. States That Allow Same-Sex Unions Have Lower Divorce Rates.

The only reason there would be a stigma is if people like you go after them for having gay parents. Or if kids bully them because their parents are homophobes and they learned to bully from their parents.

prejudice is diabolical. I have no respect for such ugliness. We are all afflicted in some fashion because of our backgrounds. As good people, we seek to uncover our own prejudice, face it, and get to know people who are not just like us. If you are guided by God, maybe you should think about how God loves all of us, not just you and your congregation. Well said. I have no respect for such ugliness either.
