Not every date goes smoothly or turns out as we may have expected.
Many, maybe even most, of us have experienced more bad, boring or pretentious dates than marvelous ones. And in those experiences there is probably one thing that really stands out above the rest to each of us that we hate encountering on a date. So, spill it! What is you Numero Uno dating pet peeve? Yes, I have one too. Mine would be men who feel a need to touch you constantly on a first date, especially in an overly familiar or intimate way. |

constant talking as opposed to turn taking. I remember one date, I felt like I couldnt escape. I went out with him again tho, in case the talking was just nerves about a first date. Noop. He was a chattahbox. I give a second date to chatterers too. It's only fair.

Pomposity or condescension. Alternatively, being so intensely quiet that I feel like I'm carrying the entire conversation.
Although I will say I've dated a couple of guys who were that quiet, and yet whose company I enjoyed enough to continue dating them. In both cases, when they DID open their mouths and say something, it was worth listening to. And while I'm admittedly a chatterbox and hated feeling like even more of one by comparison, both informed me repeatedly that they loved to listen because I was funny. So what seemed like an imbalance in one way actually balanced in others, I guess. *shrug*

Sounds creepy...except for the time there was toilet paper. Toilet paper is just plain funny! I know, huh :-) I stopped on the way out of a movie theatre to use.. the facilities. So, past hundreds of people lined up inside to get in, all of which were laughing, I just smiled.. clueless..until I saw it. Nothing was ever redder than me face :-) |

asking a lot of personal questions fired at me like bullets for this valentine
  anyone care to count how many times I stifled a yawn?....got the flock out asap I mean maybe have one or two questions to stimulate a topic and let the convo flow but it also had not helped that I have not been attracted to my more recent dates upon meeting (which is why I stopped dating) so lack of any real attraction is the 2nd pet peeve |

Chewing with their mouth open. That's disgusting!  So is chewing gum with one's mouth open! Coughing without turning one's head! Spitting while talking! I totally felt I needed an umbrella!
