Topic: Why Good People Should Be Armed

good people don't NEED to have a gun

unless they live in crime ridden areas where guns are RAMPANT already

there is no real compelling evidence to back up either side of the argument, in my opinion

there are plenty of studies showing those with guns being more likely to be shot or killed in confrontations than those without

the best self defense is between the ears, being aware of your surroundings and how to approach and work with them

simple

Talk that killer with a gun in your face down or just grab him till the police get there!

Im more likely to fall down a flight of stairs than have a killer in my face with a gun

Ive lived 45 years already without it even happening ONCE, imagine that!

and I have been assaulted twice, by those armed only with brut strength, I Bet if I had had a gun and moved wrong though they would easily have grabbed it and it I wouldn't be living to explain that I had merely been assaulted,,,,and got away with my life,,,

but I don't avoid steps either, IM just careful around them

A 13 minute crock of Chit! drinker

-The Gov doesn't want assault weapons... true, not because they're afraid of them being used on the establishment and not because criminal elements use them... No, because mentally deranged mass murderers are killing your children! Simple.

-The fact that weapon carriers haven't stopped armed aggressions... and they're getting more frequent as economic hard times are getting harder... law enforcement wouldn't know who was who during an armed assault... This should wake up the pro-gun lobby... but nooo

You guys don't have the balls to start an armed rebellion against your gov... Soft targets, Now that's the American way!waving

WHAT Assault-Weapons?
Oh,that semi-Automat with that Bayonet-Lug and Barrelshroud!

Hey Conrad, Get with the times eh...
We're dealing with Bathsalts, Meth and Crack addicts now.

Get out of the forties will ya? this is serious!

It's people with your opinion that make it serious by restricting the rights of the average citizen to protect themselves and their families!

THAT'S THE REAL PROBLEM!

No Sir, your way isn't working and hasn't for decades.

The real stupidity here is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results drinker

You mean like making more laws that don't stop criminals in the first or last place?

I wonder how many people bother watching videos in threads like these where the OP offers nothing but the subject line.

I was taught that information was where you find it, knowledge is what you glean from it, and opinion is based on that knowledge.

If video or links are not enticements to education then why do we have TVs, cell phones, computers or any other form of communication to outside information?

Sometimes a video says it all, and not watching one that is offered says a lot as well........

If you feel a video, especially on YouTube, is very important, why not give a little info about it?

I thought that was what the title did.

What was I supposed to say...."Watch this!" ?

If someone hands you something to read do you expect them to tell you what is says, give you an opinion, or do you read it, formulate your own, and comment?

And BTW..... Youtube is one of the most visited and used sites on the internet. More so than even google or network news, so it stands to reason it's as useful and informative as any other source offered, it is opinion that will be the judge, not the content.

If someone hands me something to read, I'd expect a little background info, at least. Which is what I'd expect for a YouTube link as well. If it's not important enough for you to tell a bit about it, why should I spend my time watching it?

Your understanding and my opinion may conflict causing bias or a lack of communication. Not everyone judges a book by it's cover or the appearance of the author but will take an offering for a glance before passing judgement....usually.

Rather than watching and contributing comment on the topic you instead choose to attack the poster......

So who is the one of any fault in this scenario?

"Hi! Here's a greeting card. It says....."

I'm not attacking you. I asked a question based on your post.

yep, I admit someone twice assaulted me,, I chose to live and let them live to go to jail

works for me
I consider it more being a survivor than a victim,, but to each their own

No, instead of watching the video for comment you attack the form of the post, therefore me.

An utter waste of effort, with absolutely no value to the thread at all except to maybe make you feel better about yourself at my expense. I see no other reason why you would even comment since you offered nothing on the topic of the post at all.

I choose not to take a life when mine is not at risk,, injuries and bruises heal,, at least for me

that's my choice, I said nothing about taking away anyone elses right to prefer to kill people dead as a first resort,, if that's their prerogative,,,

Yep! Liberals will destroy whatever dignity and honor we have left in this country

We all know how little you value our Constitution and Bill of Rights from your previous statements

Why do you stay in a country you seem to which to change to fit your standards instead of allowing others to keep what they wish to enjoy?

But then you support Obozocare too......

and media will continue to divide with symbolism so that people stop giving a damn about actual humans

and instead become obsessed and wrapped up in the symbolism of flags, and uniforms and historical documents,,,
