I saw an article online about this website called : Shesahomewrecker.com

The site actully made me mad and this is Why.sick mad
When my boyfrined cheated on me, HE WAS COMPLETELY TO BLAME!

Granted a boyfriend is different than a husband, and by different I mean the husband is WORSE!

He took the vow to be faithful.. to forsake all others for her. The woman he cheated with made no such vow!

Yes, It's sleazy for a woman to knowingly go after a married man, but lets be real... She has zero obligation to that man's wife, He does!

Come on Chicks! Get it together! Kick him to the curb... and take half if you can't take it ALL!rant

Yeah, I say that all the time, but it seems to be embedded in our society- blame the "other woman" even if she didn't know the guy was married/attached. The woman didn't owe you fidelity, the guy who cheated did. However, people act like the guy was "seduced" or "couldn't resist temptation" or he couldn't help himself or something equally lame.

I think the main reason is because many women know they're not going to break up with the cheater, and they have to put blame somewhere, so they blame the other woman. That, and we just live in a sexist, ****ed up society.

The expression "homewrecker" should be applied to the person living in the home who does the wrecking.

Exactly! I agree with you both!
Painte and Dodo!

A whole website devoted to shameing some random woman though... It's ridiculous!

the married guy/woman carries a greater responsibility to their partner for doing harm because of the marital vow, I agree. But they are both equally responsible for wrongdoing and equally cause harm to an innocent spouse. that is my opinion.

I think it's ridiculous to place greater blame on either. Blame usually solves nothing anyway. If "society" is ostracizing just the "other woman" than that is wrong and those who do that become also guilty of doing harm.

I totally understand, nor would I. Even if the marriage is failing, the married person needs to worry about that situation. the "homewrecker" is usually just an "escape" for someone who is unhappy in their marriage. Married men seldom leave their wives for the "other women."

I get what you're saying, but why bother getting your knickers in a twist over some stranger's you'll never know? It beats me as to why one gender would ever do something more than the other. Both genders are capable of this. Sexism always seem's to be rife. Woman, man, alien, or hamster, we are all capable. Any woman or man who can't leave the cheater, must have self-confidence issue's. If you have your brain switched on, you leave the cheater. Unless they are all that special. I don't understand why some let others take them for a fool.

I've known a man who had this happen to him with another man. He consented his partner was intimate with that man, they had threesomes too. Then the other two fell in love and he was livid with that guy. Made no sense to me. Sure he got hurt, but play with fire and you're likely to get burnt. He never ever blamed his then ex partner, the other guy was solely responsible in his view noway frustrated

"Don't know a guy is married?" Give me a break ! laugh

I would say if you don't know a guy well enough to find out if he is married very early in the relationship, by say the third in person contact, you are NOT doing your homework and don't care about your own safety as well as the fact you are a home wrecker.

As well as the puke you are going out with. (Right on David.)flowerforyou

Married guys could not cheat if women would just not be so self centered and ask the appropriate questions and actually check the facts. As little as a home address pretty much spills the beans.

This is the computer age; you can find out in as little as three minutes flat if a guy is living with a wife and kids. Even their names and last six addresses.

And it should not matter why the guy is unhappy as to weather a woman decides it is ok for a married guy to cheat. It is stupidity to think he is going to treat you any better if you let him have his cake and eat it too.

Now girlfriends, shacking up? Well you stick your neck out you can't complain if it gets chopped off. slaphead They have already proved you don't matter enough to him to commit to you. Why would you delude yourself to believe he is going to be faithful? frustrated Quit kidding yourself you were a live in Mistress until he finds something better or can afford to live alone. You catch him cheating it is because he wanted you to. He might profess he is sorry to keep you help foot the bills or the housekeeping but he has no respect for you.

a relationship takes two people, if both are aware there is a 'home' involved, and decide to carry on a physical relationship anyway,

both are responsible for 'wrecking' it,,, vows or no vows..

That's a bad attitude to have? Blaming every guy, for the actions of one? Looking for the backing of the woman, to make you feel justified? Then you want to take the guy to the cleaners also? It's women like you that I avoid like the plague and make me glad that im still single!!

paper is just paper, it doesn't really make a relationship a commitment, it only gives the government the right to play a legal part in the decisions to be made if it doesn't work out

I don't know why 'common law' went out of play, if someone can shre and devote their home and assets for several years,, they are pretty much as married as anyone else doing the same,,,,papers or not
