I am not sure what other older men r looking for but I can speak for myself. Maybe this can help. Older men should have learned something from life. I found that eye candy is just that shallow. Been there done that. I have come to the point in my life that eye candy is only a plus and not a game starter for me. Now u r going to say that I am not handsome or something is wrong with me. Not so even though by far I am not a perfect man.My first wife of 24 years died of cancer. I was committed. My second wife of 12 years was extremely beautiful.I was committed.she took a job as a caregiver on a 24/7 shift. The Lady she took care of had her single son living with her.I received divorce request by phone. I learned from this. What in the world would I have in common with a woman who is very much younger than I. Do I want to commit suicide with my heart. U cannot see the whole picture. Most of those relationships go aery. Its all about lust and money not the heart. The older men or young wise men that r worth their salt r sitting back somewhere afraid like me. I made my profile to the far extreme. I hope I have helped u. Afraid

Not all of us are blinded byt the bling. As a young man I always loved an older woman. Now that I have matured they are more my age and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I agree with TallBlonde. Eye Candy is Ok to look at, but I would not want to date or enter into a relationship with any woman who is more then 6 or 7 years younger then me. TallBlonde does not fall into the Dumb Joke Category....she is witty and smart.

A couple's business is a couple's business. Mutual attraction and loyalty are important to me. If you have those two things age is just a number.

I would love to meet up with a Gal in her 50s or 60s. even if we have to do things as friends for awhile before dating. Tom.

As for myself I'm well past wanting a young piece of eye candy. I like a mature Lady, looks are of no importance. I want someone I can relate to...

Hey now the older ones don't have to be trained. I think some gals with long white or grey hair look pretty. so the age isn't the thing for me. the younger ones still run like bamby in the woods. Its hard to get tail. Tom.

 I am a woman in my early fities. Have been divorced for 14 years. I am ready to get back into the dating scene, and wondering if older men truly interested in meeting older women or are they only looking for young trophy gorlfriends/ wives?

Not looking for a trophy, but do not want one so old "mentally" that they think camping should be only at a Holiday Innfrustrated

it might only be my opinion....but I think on a personal level im not interested in someone 10 or 20 years younger than me, I would much prefer a wiser woman nearer my own age (54) because i think she would be more comfortable with who she is, what she wants etc and hopefully wouldnt be afraid to share those thoughts with me. After all how can I help those dreams or desires come true if you dont talk to me, except to slate me in with the ones that have hurt you in the past. Some of us guys have been badly hurt too you know. Trophies maybe for those more insecure in their lives, or chasing back after their youth but i get that from my motorcycle, love i will get from the woman i love (i hope) so i will keep looking for a woman near my own age because thats what i know will make me happy. Not all men are trophy hunters or need to prove their virility in that fashion.

Very well said

MY "COMMON SENSE" tells me to find "FRIENDS" first, learn about them, as a "FRIEND". Then if you want to get closer, TALK with your "FRIEND" & see what their thoughts are. If they are not of the same mind, you still have a "FRIEND". All this "relationship" first & "FRINDS" later; is like "putting the cart in front of the horse". NOT the best way to go some where.
laugh Very wise words from a person that has been here longer than i have!! My first time on here i was bombarded with Women local and from different countries, it was astronomical?? To possibly find a "forever friend" then be a Friend First!! Times have changed for us "older people" but youth still lies in our Hearts! We just need to be careful here!! Join the forums there are some good Hearts there!! "SOME"

I so hate being called "dear". Seems they like to use it on us "seniors". Managers in stores and restaurants should tell their staff not to address us this way as it is very condescending and rude. JMO.noway
