No matter how much you try, you are attracted to who you are attracted to. And it aint gonna change. Old, young, short, tall, white, oriental. It's natures way and you gotta go with it.
For the record, age is not the issue, its the person that counts.

 I am a woman in my early fities. Have been divorced for 14 years. I am ready to get back into the dating scene, and wondering if older men truly interested in meeting older women or are they only looking for young trophy gorlfriends/ wives? They're interested in both...You have to sort through them...

Life is only complicated when you allow it to control you...Some men like younger women, some men like older women, some men like women who are close to their age...The same is true of women...The reasons don't really matter because they are not cast in stone...In other words, people are in a constant state of change whether they know it or not...

I can't go too far towards in age, because it just doesn't look right carrying a shovel and a bouquet of Flowers to the Cemetery for a Date? Just doesn't look right!!  But then again, the ones i've met were dead from the neck down anyhow!!

As an archaeologist, I find that as a woman gets older, she becomes more and more interesting.

Dude! There's such a thing called TACT and RESPECT! Remember, those older women you're referring to are our mothers or sisters or even daughters of other mothers. Have a little respect! If you want a lady, treat her like a Lady! Respect her, Admire her, Love her and Cherish her....That's when you will realize inside yourself that little saying you posted. Just remember, women of all ages have feelings.

It's been my experience that older women, in general, are more fun than younger women. For some reason, younger women have more difficulty relaxing and remain more cautious.
It may just be my personal statistical sample. |

I'm an older man, with a young thinking mind but I am mature enough to know that I will seek a woman who is no more then 10 years younger then I am, and that is pushing my limit. I want us to have things in common and we can communicate well with each other and do things together. I may be single (not by choice-but by death) and I am not desperate. In due time I am sure I'll find a mature lady close to my age who will enjoy the companionship of a real gentleman.

People want what they want. If everyone wanted the same thing, then we would be in serious trouble. I will say I am contacted by more younger men and much older men than men my age.

I would just like to say that being a widower, and seeing the way things have changed in the last 35 years and the mentality of the younger generation, I personally woul like some one who knows the difference between a Homemade meal and a Can of stew/chili/spaghetti etc.. and the difference between roughing it or all the comforts of home FOR example ya know man ETC.... I know there are more words in the english dictionary than. Good luck to all David

I admit, at 67 I do not particularly seek a woman older than myself (I suppose it is possible, eh?). I am thinking if I am lucky, she will be of a same age and have some similar memories or just a touch of the hippie girl left in her. I am building a rat-rod motor home out in my shed and it's going to be great fun. Sure would be sweet if there was someone to bring some carrot cake and tea out to me now and then. I am no great find, but I do bring many interesting tales of adventure....

I will b 60 this July , goin thru divorce after 39 yrs married. Too confused at this time to b very reasonable. I do enjoy some of the insight on here. Thanks
