Every women dream to have a Prince Charming. But now a days that kind of dream will remain a dream. Its hard to find someone will accept you past, respect your present and be with you to the future. I think, no luck to find it.:-(

Prince charming is a childs fantasy so a grown women is better served seeking a genuine caring man who respects and honors a woman and builds an egalitarian relationship...Ideally a woman or man should be self sufficient so that in most all circumstances they are able to deal with life wihthout the need of being rescued by another as the promise of rescue is dubious if not non existent..Expecting others to provide for one is a very risky and dangerous idea as most people in US do not honor commitments other than ones made in the heat of passion that later are recanted....

I kind of wonder if someone didn't accept your past. Then what did you do that was so terrible? Were you a cannibal? Did you rape pillage and plunder?Did you get a sex change? I just wonder what you could have done to have unacceptable.

I think there is wisdom in the philosophy that we attract what we put out,, (no pun intended)

but we don't always see what it is we are putting out

prince charming falls for the princess, perhaps when we carry ourselves as princesses do and expect to be treated as princesses do while treating others like princes and princesses too,,,,,we attract that prince charming to us

Im still working on it too,,,lol

I seen old Prince Charming at the grocery store the other day.
He says he's batting for the other team now.

When a person says "accept me as I am", red flags wave brightly for me. Saying that suggests they have experienced not being accepted for what they are -- perhaps for darn good reason. Yes, we should accept (or reject) a person as they are (not who we idealize or wish they were or imagine them to be). However, when someone LEADS with that request they may be indicating more about themselves than they realize.

Regarding the past: We are all, to some extent, the product of our past -- good, bad or indifferent. When one's past leaves a lot to be desired they seem to want that concealed or down-played. When their past is desirable and accomplished they often want that recognized (sometimes to excess).

Sybariticguy wisely points out that "Prince" and "Princess" are FANTASIES.

Prince Charming was last seen trying to rescue a princess from an old castle that is being guarded by a dragon.

Are you an ogress during the night?

[The word "ogress" is feminine version of "ogre".]

Women might not want to be with Prince Charming if they knew what his mother was like.

I don't think it's particularly hard to find someone who accepts you as you are, or at least I've never had any trouble. If you keep looking, with an open mind, I'm sure you'll get what you want.

And not every woman wants a Prince Charming, god knows I don't....laugh

blushing I at one time got to play the Prince in Rodger's and Hammerstein's musical version of Cinderella in High School. (Figure somehow I'm setting myself up for ridicule) Oh well. But can actually say I'm far from being charming. So maybe you should be glad you haven't found Prince Charming. He could be as dull and deadbeat as me....laugh

May be "Prince Charming" is when a woman finds the love of her life. But I think the title "Prince Charming" is too heavy a burden for any man.
