Topic: appaling site just like them all

I have just joined this site and i am about to remove my details already. Since when is Nevada and Nigeria within 50miles of Christchurch NZ but i am getting contacts from these countries, where is the privacy? Also why am i being sent weird emails from a site called Meet1.com when i only joined Mingle2.

I've met a few people on this site so I have to disagree. I would like to add that you're correct with regards to scammers, especially from the countries you listed. Ignore anything that isn't local and don't give up personal info until after you've met in person.

hope4ull, you may need to turn on your mail filters, if you have not already. If they are on, then such members may be changing their profile location in order to get around the system. In that case, please report them. As for emails, you chose the 'Special offers from Mingle2 partners' option upon registration. I have undone it for you.
