As a child what did yiu want to be growing up? I use to have to ride the city bus to grade school with my sister and it amazed me that the driver was in such a hurry people especially elderly would be running to catch the bus and they would just drive away. Every day I watched that so growing up I wanted to be a bus driver so I could wait for the people lol

What I wanted to be was a librarian. I currently work in a school, but not in the library. Funny what you want to be when you were a child and how, sometimes, it doesn't happen.

I wanted to be one of those guys that had a belt full of tools around his waist and it worked out for me.

I didn't want to grow up. Didn't really have any realistic ambitions when I was a child.

If you were both then you could sing the national anthem and then join your team to play in the world series.

.. as a child I grew up watching. Jacque Cousteau..
so I wanted to grow up to be a underwater Explorer..
. but as it turns out I have a inner ear problems.
. which will not allow me to dive. much deeper than 15 feet... but I'm okay with that because he instilled in me a love for nature and animals...

My father asked me once when I was about 11 years old what I wanted to become when I grew up and I quickly and genuinely replied... "I want to be a veterinarian."

Of course life had other ideas and limitations for me so I began raising dogs with my first husband when I was 20 years old.

And after I married my third husband I graduated to cats, parakeets, ducks, geese, chickens, pheasants, gerbils, hamsters, fish (salt water and fresh), a pot belly pig, goats, a horse...

And I've loved every one, nursed their wounds, bred some, helped them birth their young...

There were a couple of things for me. A veterinarian and a horse trainer. I even had the career day at the local vet clinic.

Turns out my most passionate of the two came true. I raised and trained 3 amazing horses. Two from the ages of 3 months & 6 months. The last, which was the most challenging was 4 1/2 and never really handled. Some of the most rewarding experiences I have had.
