A is for "Apathy".....

...OR.....perhaps you're feeling "down" for a moment.....

If you've somehow dropped out or feel uninvolved in your own life for a time (no matter the blow that put you there).......

How do YOU snap out of it, and kick it into gear?

.. I personally when I feel a little blue.
I try to spend more time outside in nature..
and then I go down to my local hospital.. and visit the children's ward.
. are the cancer ward.. are I think of all those other people.. in a third world countries that don't have enough to eat..
pretty much by the end of all that. I kick myself in the ***.. realize I live in one of the best countries in the world Canada.. I tell myself to stop feeling so dang sorry for myself..
. and then I go home.. and give my boys a kiss. and tell them.. to eat all the food on your plate..
. because their are kids right now that have nothing.. so don't waste.. and be grateful for everything you have. because there are others out there.. that have far less than we do. and life is much harder for them.. thats it thats all I got to say..flowerforyou

Good question and precicely what I've been pondering for most of my life.

I guess that one thing that I do is to just **** everything up. Being stuck in a rut is having a routine and just having to deal with the same old all the time. Once you find yourself just performing a role you become like a placemarker and anyone can do what you do.

I wholly concentrate on myself.
I do my nails, toenails, hair, I soak in the tub,
I buy new underwear.
I love on my cats and dog.
All for me.

After this, I am ready to face anything.

I absolutely agree with nature (rim of Grand Canyon feeling small, stuff).

Realizing fortunes and how much worse people have it is always on my mind at all times!!!!!

......but then I feel like a whiney lil beeeeeeeeeeach, and the guilt wrecks me lmao!!!!

We're allowed our feelings no matter HOW actually fortunate and disillusioned we are....right? laugh

Like Soufie, I have a "me" day...I spend a little extra time on hair and makeup, put on something cute, and hit the road...On a nice day I might land in the park or the farmers market...In the winter, I can spend hours at the Book Celler or, don't laugh, Lowe's, just browsing...No matter where I go, it's all about "look good, feel good" and making contact with people...A smile from a stranger, an admiring glance from a good looking guy, a random act of kindness...Any and all of these things work like magic to chase away the blues....

You mean besides the obvious porn? laugh

I do something I haven't tried before seek something different that
can capture my interest. Try to fix something around the house perhaps.
Sometimes I like to watch a movie or re-watch an old favorite.
