Hi Mikey and mingle friends
  We're anyone's ears buzzing while I was talking about some of you an hour ago? Mikey has opened this place so we could share our story and one never knows when simply talking can help another person to know they are not alone going through it. After class 2 ladies and I were walking to the parking lot together. One of them asked me about my friend who I met through mingle. And I responded to her question. The other one had been absent a couple of times so didn't know the online dating part and was surprised. She said Ana, you're so confident, so together. As we were talking we found out we have so much in common, being alone and learning how to deal with it. Grieving for the loss and then learning to live again. Then she said she doesn't know if she's ready to start dating again. I told her that's the beauty of this place. You have choices and you don't have to date unless you want to. I learned that when I first started. I thought I was ready but then found my heart wasn't in it and opted for friendship and have met a lot of people and there's the possibility that friendship can develop something deeper. After describing some of the great people here, she thought maybe there are possibilities. It's always nice when our own experience can help someone feel less alone or comfortable with being single. There's always hope. |
