My friends second wife told me no matter how old the kids get they never totally leave you. She has 3 from prior marriage and he has none. Needless to say they caused some drama in their marriage.
Is it wise to date a single mom knowing that the kids will get in the way of the relationship? I hate it when you make reservations and they get blown away due to a kid problem. Am I being a selfish SOB or just should stay away from that situation? |

my own experience too...i was dating a single mom..she was 15 years elder to me...still our chemistry was superb...we love each other... but not for long time...her kids (that time teenagers) revolted...she too stopped getting along with me... :( |

I'm not opposed to the idea,
but I also think that I wouldn't blame it entirely on the kids being the reason something didnt work, granted they may be a contributing factor, but if something ends, it means either one or both parties are ok with it ending.....so that person wasn't a fit move on to the next, but overall you need to decide if a single mom fits YOUR life, thats just my 2 cents |

Single mom dating is more complex as you got the kid(s) the biological father and in some cases his family to deal with. If they have a teenager that is another problem in itself.
Is the drama worth it? |

I love to date a singel mom more because that attention is always been given to the guy. There better off than the singel ladies I love them any singel mom in the house lol.

single moms have feelings too,situations come up that cant be avoided.see men can run from there responsibilities if they want and women cant.so, no children should not interfere with someones happiness.

DNA test require when you are not sure,in case multiple kids mom its needs to find kids are twins if so de 99% sure father is same. But if U hve to date multiple kids mom. Its all needs to belive her if she has four kids you ask her details of Y chromsomes of each kids I dont know how she will burst out only I can pray GOD save U

If you don't like children you should not date a single mother or father. You probably should not have children of your own either.
Some folks have dated people who have children from a previous relationship and have treated these children as if they were their own. It's not always easy but I think these people deserve a lot of credit. If you are not able to do this, you probably should only date the childless. |
