Sometimes i wonder how an honest man or woman will find someone of his or her likings here. That country has crafted its own bad reputation. They seem to hide behind any picture that pops up in my mail. They hide behind the weirdest disguises. And then the truth and sobby stories come out..
I am sorry to those people that have good intentions. But you owe that all to the scammers in your land that i will avoid any of you.

So true man! Initially it was sad, but now its just annoying! They really need to stop that. Unfortunately, the saying 'the good has to suffer with the bad' will play itself out in the future of ****** because of these scammers. Not many people will trust them as before. Now that's sad...

The numbers of ******* scammers are huge and growing, the only way to make your presence felt as real person is too get involved in the forums......be active and show peeps your views on a range of subjects......try and convey your thoughts and views in as best as English as possible, treat the women with respect and gradually you will be accepted.

Its not the country that has crafted its reputation but the 1% off bad eggs that ruin everything for everyone....and that happens in all walks of life.

Best of luck to you guys drinker

Internet scammers are in every location, that has any type of internet service.

All scammers pretend to be someone they're not.

When I say local I mean withing 50 miles. Not 50 countries. It's a bit hard to have a relationship with someone half way around the globe. I mean, what do you talk about? "give me money??"

laugh waving Looking good for a tall antlered man

It is what it is...or what it is trying to be, but isn't! ohwell

Yeah, can be annoying but I'm starting to get a laugh out of some of the expressions used, which are obviously cut and pasted.

E.g.: Two sentences in the scambag writes: Your pretty face and sexy body is very desires in me.
- <Yet my one profile photo only shows my face! huh >

Scambusters Unite to blow them out of Mingledom explode

Oh and a big thank you, all you lovely moderators 'cos you must be working overtime to keep all of this tripe in check flowerforyou

This thread is worth saving. I mean when they come onto you so fast your head is reeling. How can you say that you love me when you don't even know me? Not here; on Facebook is what I am currently experiencing. I get that feeling of being targeted. Since I am heterosexual it was easy to let go of the two guys but the lady it even seems more like a scam. One would like to give the benefit of a doubt but one can't but believe the old saying if it is too good to be true then it probably isn't good.

Being registered on many Uniform professional connection sites & being born & raised in a Military & Medical family with a Fireman uncle...I have came across numerous scheming & scamming fake profiles, posing as Military & Police officers...with each of them reported to site administrators & law enforcement authorities. Unfortunately it does pose stress & anxiety for the people trying to establish genuine connections...even the genuine Military & Police officers. Reality is in the real world...people do impersonate Official Authority figures, for their own greed & crime sprees. Women are just as bad the men...chasing after their pensions & benefits etc...money, money, money.

I have been here less than a week. It seems like the scammers are HUGE here. They love you but have only sent two messages to you. They immediately want phone numbers, email addresses etc. And I know I'm not butt ugly, but some of them are the most gorgeous people I have ever seen. Obviously fake photos.

I agree with it! They even use the name of God jst to cheat other people. They are very much expert in saying I love you. Intelligent in the word of God, the memory verse until they get your trust after that they will try any thing just to get any information about your bank account.

Bingo, if it's too good to be true, it probably is! Took me only two months to spot them, their grammar, their military so-called experience, their inability to speak coherently despite being born and raised in the U.S., or so they say! Most of them will add you to their favorites list without having sent you a single message...block those! As well as those beginning their profile by saying "Hi...I am so and so, by name. Am so and so type of person......Clear giveaway! Get educated, like I did! You will also see repeated photos of the same person by different names and living in different places. I remember every photo so as soon as I see one of these popularly posted photos, I block and report them. Time consuming yes, and shouldn't really be our responsibility, but you will do it if you don't want to see other people scammed.
