gosh. married couples hope for casual sex. to me that just means spontaneous. unplanned. its preferred to scheduling.

I assume this questioning really pertains to detached sex, or one nite stands. Its not my thing, but to each their own.

as for prostitution, theyre trina make a living, its a job, just like porn. they may say theyre really into it but are they doin it for free? If they say theyre not into it, will that effect their income? Those people are probably troubled.

or 'empowered' to express their sexuality and learn more about it while actually coming away with some TANGIBLE measure of their 'value' that pays the bills,,

just saying,,,

Hey every once in a while, you make sense

Actually most prostitution involves human trafficing and slavery, even the white bread hookers are not immune

are you sure about that? based upon what information? are prostitutes taking polls these days....

to be clear, when I say prostitute, I mean ANYONE who has sex for a monetary pay out,, this would be those standing on corners, those sneaking out behind hubbys back, those sneaking out under their parents watch, those advertising on the strip or in the phonebook,,,,,etc,,,,

13 years in forensic sexology.

Are you looking for a part-time job? LOL

so from the perspective of one studying sex, you know of polls that prostitutes are taking describing their experience ?

nah, Im not even into casual sex and couldn't even stomach the short while that I participated in phone sex either,,,,

1. Yeah, my one friend did porno but could not stand the freaks when she did phone sex.
2. I personally don't remember any polls, what I do know is working with prostitutes and others working with prostitutes and a general summary of the literature. Most prostitution is not a victimless crime, real life is not a Lifetime channel movie

real life is also not just what our work exposes us to:wink:

just taking issue with the use of the word 'most',, although 'most' that you worked with may have been,,,,,,

leading you to believe that MOST of all are,,,,

I can say, in my experience, most people who engage often in 'casual' sex with those they have no intimate bond to beyond physical attraction are also damaged on some level,,,

doesn't mean it is true of MOST casual sexers period,,,though.

and if I were to engage in the limited definition of prostitution as those sex slaves, it seems the correct emotion to feel towards them is empathy and compassion, not disgust and inferiority,,

the latter being what confuses me amongst those who claim that casual sex is perfectly fine and healthy,,,,

Wait, wait "sexers"? LOL, how am I supposed to think after that! Sexers! hahaha
How about I use scientific language and say sombunall? Or would that make me a sciencer? by using english prime? Sombunal is english prime for some but not all.

Criminal activity requires intent and free will. I only dealt with people either court-ordered or wanted help. I have taught really really up-tight people how to have sex, teaching a forced prostitute how to love is much much harder. Maybe I should have taught them to just be a sexer.
I can't over that word sexer; my gay friends would call you a breeder.

most everyone is a breeder by physical design, just not by choice

I don't mind that at all

Im not sure of the scientific term for those who engage in and encourage and support casual sex,, but casual sexer seemed the shorter and most direct way to phrase it,,,

suggestions are welcomeflowerforyou

I just find the term perjorative- you causal sexer. I was always amazed listening to people, esp- friends, etc how much extra martial sex was going on and from people I would never imagine- does that make me not normal as I never fooled around- I had a made mafia guy yell at me that having something on the side only strengthen marriage and I was a ***** for not doing it.

I would consider most attitudes regarding sex to fall at least within one standard deviation from the norm, so I wouldn't have a word for it, only the perjoriative vernacular such as slut- which does not empower one's sexuality.

How do you spell perjorative?

msharmony's photo

shrug,, ya lost me,,lol

those having sex outside of marriage are referred to as adulterer/adulteress and its not a positive connotation where I am from

there was no attitude with the term, just a means of communicating with the simplest language I could ,,,,,

Hey they censored ***** that is within the norm of any PG-13 movie.

But back to your question- I believe that sombunal causal sex and sombunal prostitution to be two different things.

gotcha

that's why I tried to be specific as to what I MEANT with the term prostitution,,

I am assuming the intent is also different- one desires the rewards of being a sexer sand the other desires the rent money obtained by being a sexer

yes

one is sex for sex sake, one is sex for rents sake

but both are consentual sex,,,

and of course, those who engage in sex for sex sake may find a relationship,,,,

and those having sex for money may find the 'rewards' of sex,,,,

For someone uptight about sexers you sure talk about it a lot. I was recruited into sexology as people noticed I didn't give a **** what came out of my mouth- or maybe you noticed that

aww,, ya don't know me well at all,,,,

speaking about it (which I actually don't talk about a lot)is not the same as being 'uptight' about it,,,,

unless you are 'uptight' about religion,, but I wouldn't describe you that way,,, a bit biased, for sure,,, but not 'uptight'

Well let's hope they do, can we agree on that- hoping that some people may find some meaning and happiness in life?

I once had a hooker tell me- ya got it, ya sell it and ya still got it

There is nothing wrong with a person choosing to refrain from casual sex if that person wishes to do so.
