Topic: Is it a 'red flag' about him?

It seems a dumb question. One i could probably answer myself but i have messaged this guy off this site for a while. We live in the same country not that far away but have never met yet or even spoken on the phone. He says 'you're the one, marry me, i love you' I think ive got caught up in what he says. Basically i would say you can't love someone or decide something like that till you've known each other a while no matter how well we get on.

yes it is a red flag if you don't live that far apart there is no reason not to meet. Then take it from there.

Its ok to say "I love you" to someone you havent met in person, but to plan to marry them is a mistake. People are similar, but actually different in person than they are in text/email. You need to invest time and energy in getting to know who they are in person....because often, the chemistry is different, and sometimes absent entirely. The refusal to meet is classic scammer/catfish behavior. ^^^ Exactly Other indicators are : - Using Skype but not face to face, only to talk as the number has no prefix to show where they live - When on mobile, asking you to ring them back so you foot the bills more than him/them - poor English, especially when using verbs, and using same phases again especially if not really relevant (non-nationals sound like this too but eventually they learn the language of the country they are staying in) Lastly, don't beat yourself up as they target everyone, they are smooth talkers and know that is what a lot of us women want to hear, but this sounds totally fishy, so delete that scambag and devote your energies to others (like us on the forums x)

Iam just kidding,,, you never said how long you two were talk/MSG each other;if its like a month or two.thats understanding some ppl just cant get away every weekend,but if its like six months well thin houston we have a prob, well good luck eather way,,
