Too close to home for you??? I live less than 10 miles from this hospital.  One of those, (unnamed, under watch) folks could be a close neighbor. Filter masks, surgical gloves, long sleeved shirts and pants and limited close contact with the general public. Be sure to undress outside. Leave those clothes in a hamper outside. Go directly to the shower to avoid any accidental contamination inside your home. |

I'll predict the future again.

Myself I think that some may over think the situation they have no cure for Aids. But yet you all do not have Aids.. Ebola is transmitted the same way...
To over think and go to the extreme is not the way to go about things.. Make sure you follow the same regimen you would if you were around anyone carrying a deadly disease. As far as the guy being seen by the hospital and released Ebola starts off with a fever just like many other sickness does.. What I don't understand is why are they letting anyone travel from the area where Ebola is in full force to any part of the world... Taking ones temperature at the airport before they board will not stop someone from bringing it over.. That has already been proved with this case.. |

Where is your study on Ebola that you draw your conclusion? Sure, I would imagine, the body is infected, the sperm would also be. So is sweat, urine, defecation, blood, saliva, mucus. Where is the stat on the study that Ebola is purely sexually transmitted? Another thing. AIDS doesn't rapidly eat you from the inside out. Here's a real life picture of an advanced infected person. Casual contact is defined as a) being within approximately 3 feet or within the room or care area .....while not wearing recommended personal protective equipment ( although the word droplet is not specified.. Their statement indicates non contact ) . or having direct brief contact (e.g., shaking hands) with an EVD case while not wearing recommended personal protective equipment. An experiment between infected monkeys in a cage and non infected pigs in a separate cage demonstrated spread of Ebola ... Without direct contact ... This would also indicate droplet spread. I guess time will tell :-) Actually this is from the CDC in their words........... ( But, remember, Ebola to spread generally requires close contact. It is not spread by the airborne route and it is not spread by someone who is not sick. We are talking about the risk of people who are quite ill, perhaps ill enough not to be able to hide the fact that they are ill. And to people with whom they have very close contact with body fluids. ) By this your right Blondy only time will tell if in fact it could be airborne.... So far they are leaning towards it is not. Sure that is so there will not be a panic. have shut all flights out of west africa... they are taking action>>> where is perry??? waiting.... waiting... waiting borders still open... both sides complicit so this is is a crime against humanity... have listened to media clips... disgusting.. they dont know what they are talking about... its called Quarantine...this is classified as biological warfare.... now you know why tv is the enemy cancel flights or this is going to get out of hand they will never follow their own law... |

I could not find anything within the CDC site that would give a timeline or a chart... They do say that it kills between 50% -90% of the people that contacted Ebola.. And seems the length of time depends on what care they were getting and if it was caught in the early stages.. Which even the early stages it is hard for them to detect. Ohh and I would like to see your source on the chart it is not from CDC.
