Obama Ebola Bumper Stickers Appear Around Los Angeles

Truth Revolt

Obama Ebola Bumper Stickers Appear Around Los Angeles

Vice President Joe Biden held up traffic around Los Angeles for a second day on Tuesday, but it was President Obama himself on the minds of many Southern California drivers as bumper stickers began appearing on area cars featuring the word Ebola with the Obama logo replacing the letter o.

The scathing stickers come on the eve of President Obamas Thursday trip to LA for a fundraiser at the home of Gwyneth Paltrow and on the same day that the LATimes reports that it may be premature for Mr. Obamas government to declare that the deadly Ebola virus is not transmitted by air.

Dr. C.J. Peters, who battled a 1989 outbreak of the virus among research monkeys housed in Virginia and who later led the CDCs most far-reaching study of Ebolas transmissibility in humans, said he would not rule out the possibility that it spreads through the air in tight quarters.

We just dont have the data to exclude it, said Peters, who continues to research viral diseases at the University of Texas in Galveston.

Whatever the case, at least some Southland drivers seem convinced that the Presidents policy on stopping the virus to-date have not inspired confidence.

edit detail ... dang,, need to get mine before they run out...all of the cars pictured were high end too... mmm...

Can you imagine what it must be like for a child .. Losing their parents to Ebola .. Shunned by everyone and left to fend for themselves. No one should ever be in this situation .. Least of all a child. Get your priorities right .. This is no longer about politics or perceived threats . It is about doing what is right and giving help to the vulnerable. The outbreak may be happening in Africa but the threat to the rest of the world is real. They need whatever resources and help other countries can offer.. If there is any hope of minimising the destruction Ebola can inflict. If relocating people and children who are ebola free .. to safety will achieve that ... then all countries should be giving them a chance. What ever happened to compassion . At the end of the day global economies will survive.., the real question is .. Will humanity.. If Ebola is not contained.

Blondey,

You state, "all countries should be giving them a chance".
That point hasn't been disputed here.
This thread's OP doesn't suggest that all nations be involved.
Instead, it suggests that the USA has a particular responsibility.

have you ever thought about shifting responsibility

to the WHO who receives our tax money???

SO ANY HOW

Know a guy

who drives by them

south of here

by this bridge

where they harass

drivers....

and throws rotten apples

and fruit at them.

they run... hope he doesn't

get caught...

I told him that

what he was doing

was bum/rummy

he says no "I'm just feeding the

critters"

have seen people give them large pizzas

wads of money, dog.s and cats, hamburgers

stuff in bags...it just amazes me...

People shouldn't be so quick to believe everything they read, especially when one is poking fun...

http://www.polarbearsinternational.org/science/polar-bear-status-report

"...But some people are seeing more bears!

Some Native communities in Canada are reporting an increase in the numbers of polar bears on land. Traditional hunters believe this means an increase in population. Scientists attribute it to polar bears being driven ashore by lack of ice..."

Factually-speaking, of course.

drinks

To not think of the bears in their time of need,
is heartless.

I'm deeply offended, that the original poster, cares nothing for the starving
and displaced bears.
.
Nanook, would not grant such a person a safe hunt.

but al gorelioni in his NPR Voice sa~id

all the be~ars were die~ing and we

have to stop Glo~bal War~ming...

and all I read is things are cooling off...

remember last year when the ice breakers got

stuck for months???

I too live in Texas, less than 5 miles from the Presby Hospital.

I have a question maybe someone can answer.

Who or what organization paid this man's airfare to come to the US?

I think that we have the right to know who is paying for these peoples airfair. Don't you?

excellent question? hmmm:thumbsup:

he probably paid for it himself

or family member helped out..

the big question is why are

our hard earned tax dollars going

to an incompetent / arrogant organization

like the CDC who only has PC interests..

and "who" are they taking their orders from???

more and more countries daily shutting flights

from west africa... best thing to do is send

aid there..

from infowars

Have Tulane researchers and their associates attempted any experimental treatments (e.g., injecting monoclonal antibodies) using citizens of the region? If so, what adverse events have occurred?

The research program, occurring in Sierra Leone, the Republic of Guinea, and Liberia—said to be the epicenter of the 2014 Ebola outbreak—has the announced purpose, among others, of detecting the future use of fever-viruses as bioweapons.

Is this purely defensive research? Or as we have seen in the past, is this research being covertly used to develop offensive bioweapons?

For the last several years, researchers from Tulane University have been active in the African areas where Ebola is said to have broken out in 2014.

These researchers are working with other institutions, one of which is USAMRIID, the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, a well-known center for biowar research, located at Fort Detrick, Maryland.
