Topic: African Orphans. US should offer to take them in

The US has taken in adults from all over the world.

The immigration policies allow for illegals to stay.

But, little, defenseless kids. No room for them?

How humanitarian.

Strange,in one Thread you worry about an Ebola-Pandemic in the US,and in this Thread you want to make sure it becomes Fact,by bringing in Residents from the very African Regions where Ebola is raging?

Something don't add up!

Only thing that adds up, is that the original poster, is a troll profile.

The US owes them.

Above claim rejected due to lack of supporting evidence.

Above claim rejected due to lack of supporting evidence.

A bit of research helps expand minds.
If the US doesn't owe them, why are they obligated to support them?

#6 in the queue for citation-provision.

While you're busy "expanding (your) mind", why don't you just cut-and-paste those citations to legitimate sources that back up your presented-as-fact statements?

You appear to believe that "providing citations" is simply repeating the same erroneous sentiments incessantly, while changing up the sentence structure somewhat.

Ummmm...did you even bother to read your supporting citation?

"...The act also requires us to report on the extent to which means-tested public benefits are provided to illegal aliens for the use of eligible individuals. This is most likely to occur when an illegal alien parent not eligible for aid receives benefits on behalf of his or her U.S. citizen child...

...This report responds to the mandate for information on the extent to which this occurs and, as agreed with your offices, discusses (1) to what extent and in what locations selected federal means-tested benefits are being provided to illegal aliens for the use of their U.S. citizen children and (2) the nature and extent of fraud or misrepresentation detected in connection with these benefits..."

Why did you provide a citation to a source that has nothing to do with the price of tea in China...or, in this case, has nothing to do with your assertion that the U.S. is obligated to take care of African-born children to (now dead) African-born parents and that "DC" requires that we care for them?

Got it, OPie.

It is not your intention to have an intelligent discourse on this site, mostly because you are not equipped to do so.

Here's a legitimate citation to a legitimate source for YOUR reference:

letmme see now, I seem to recall....a few years back in 2005, during the Avian Flu, Wisconsin a big supporter in the Eau Claire and Wausau areas of Hmung immigrants did stop them entering the US for a time and those here were quarantined depending.

I won't even go into the shooting up here, or the dogs missing out of people's back yards.

I'm not real good with geography, but I'm pretty sure the Act which allowed Hmung immigrants to seek refuge in the U.S. covers people of a completely different continent,

so it will have little effect for the abandoned children of Africa.

We're still waiting for the citations which prove the U.S. has opened up its borders to THIS group, for humanitarian purposes.

Who will join the effort to adopt these kids?

So, how many have you adopted?

I see how we can make this a win/win
for all concerned.

Environmentalists are concerned about the melting ice caps.
But the polar bear population is exploding

The bears are gonna need something to eat... Right?

Well, praise Allah that no naturally-born U.S. citizen has ever shot another naturally-born U.S. citizen in the history of our great country,

lest equally sane, rational people start calling for all guns to be banned, like sane, rational people call for a stop to all legal immigration because someone once did something.

People shouldn't be so quick to believe everything they read, especially when one is poking fun...

http://www.polarbearsinternational.org/science/polar-bear-status-report

"...But some people are seeing more bears!

Some Native communities in Canada are reporting an increase in the numbers of polar bears on land. Traditional hunters believe this means an increase in population. Scientists attribute it to polar bears being driven ashore by lack of ice..."

Factually-speaking, of course.

Same to you.
Thanks for the warm welcome.
The humane thing to do is foster innocents.
If they survived, they must be immune.
