"I know, each one of us came to the point where in we need to decide or choose
who we should be with. In your opinion, which do you prefer? To choose someone
you love so much that you're willing to give your world to her/him or to choose
this person who loves you so much? This is more like a ONE-SIDED love situation.
Are you willing to gamble for love? -just for fun topic. I believe some people
out there has the same problem right now."

i'd say never settle for either of those.
love one so much and not be loved in return will eventually hurt, alot.
be with someone just because they love you.... never good. i would find that suffocating and unfair to the
other person.

gambling is for the lottery, not for love.

Right on.
Reciprocal love is the game.

In your opinion, which do you prefer? To choose someone
you love so much that you're willing to give your world to her/him or to choose
this person who loves you so much?

This implies that I am some sort of omniscient being that knows another persons heart and mind absolutely.

I don't think that is possible.

For all practical purposes:
"To love" = "expressed loving behavior" = "communication expressing the depth and breadth of your emotions and attachment and understanding of the relationship to the other person."

"To be loved" = "perceived loving behavior" = "perceived and understood communication from someone else expressing the depth and breadth of their emotions and attachment and understanding of the relationship they have with you."

Everyone wants to love and be loved.
To communicate what is going on and who they are, and be understood, seen.

It's not an "either/or" situation.

It's why communication is important in relationships.

So ultimately your question becomes "which would you prefer, that they get you and can show that they understand and accept you?
Or that you truly understand and know them, thereby know all the outcomes to their behavior?"

Communication and understanding is a never ending process in any relationship even though most of the time it's taken for granted and handled by the subconscious through shared events and interaction.

Both, and their growth, are important to any long term relationship.

If there was a situation where I could only choose one then I would choose neither.
Otherwise I'd flip a coin because then it becomes arbitrary for without both you're pretty much screwed anyway.

To be, or not to be--that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them. To die, to sleep--
No more--and by a sleep to say we end
The heartache, and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to. 'Tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished. To die, to sleep--
To sleep--perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub,
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause. There's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life.
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
Th' oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely
The pangs of despised love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office, and the spurns
That patient merit of th' unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscovered country, from whose bourn
No traveller returns, puzzles the will,
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all,
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprise of great pitch and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry
And lose the name of action. -- Soft you now,
The fair Ophelia! -- Nymph, in thy orisons
Be all my sins remembered.

Monologue from "Hamlet" by W. Shakespeare

I think I will choose the one who loves me the most, because if I love someone surely I do respect from the core heart similarly if someone is loving me then she will care for me, and respect me more than herself and respect and care are the strongest bond to make a relationship...:-)

Thank you so much for replying. As for my case, i always end up choosing the wrong one. Maybe you're right bastet. :) hmmm, i just dont know why i always stick up to the person i really love even if its one sided. You know the feeling of falling inlove and you dont know the reason, maybe its just me wanting this kind of situation. From all of my prev relationship, i always end up giving too much. *sigh

to love and not be loved is heartbreaking because no matter what one does it will never be enough. even more heartbreaking if that person cares for another.
the best thing is to let go of the one who can't love you back and open your heart to where you can find mutual fulfillment
