The family of an African American man killed by a rookie New York cop warned MSNBC race hustler Al Sharpton to stay away from them in their time of grief. It is refreshing to see an African American family telling huckster and sensationalist Al Sharpton to get lost like this. The arrogance of Sharpton was galling, here. The family says he schedule himself to speak a eulogy at the man’s funereal. The family was incensed that all on his own hook he decided to intrude on their ceremony. The family of New Yorker Akai Gurley has a warning for MSNBC host Al Sharpton: stay away. The 28-year-old African-American was shot on Nov. 20 by New York City Police Officer Peter Liang in the stairwell of a public housing complex in Brooklyn. Liang has testified that the shooting was an accidental discharge that caught the young man in the chest. Gurley’s mother, Sylvia Palmer, called on New York Mayor Bill de Blasio to launch a full investigation into the incident that took her son. “My son’s heart was taken away so innocently. He did nothing wrong,” Palmer said. “Nothing in this world will heal my pain and heartache.” But Palmer also had a warning for at least one person looking to become involved in the family’s time of grief. MSNBC’s Al Sharpton had planned to show up to Mr. Gurley’s funeral, but Palmer and the victim’s other family members had warned Sharpton to keep his “circus” away from them. I see no one cared about the additional information regarding how the victim of the shooting had a baby mama who contacted Sharpton, so we are gonna stick with Sharpton 'preying' instead,,,,? lol,, got it,,, Yes that's what I am going with because the mother is clearly the leader of that family.. not the " baby mama".. Sharpton took any "in" he could and got slapped for it too if you say so,, I don't know if there needs to be a 'leader' I know people have MANY who love them and any of those could reach out for help for their loss I imagine his childrens MOTHER is feeling quite a loss losing her childs FATHER as is the mother in losing her own child cant be mad at him for what someone reached out to him to do,,and definitely doesn't fit my idea of having 'preyed',, but obviously others can have some different idea of what 'preying' is,,,,, where is Sharpton's Money coming from? why? he is employed as a broadcaster and he owns his own broadcast network and he is a speaker(like many 'politicians') and I wouldn't be surprised if he invests a bit his net worth isn't even one mill (depending on the source, of course, some state its in the single digit millions) and all his kids are grown, so I don't really believe he needs to fit into the category of wealth people assume he does,, I don't know where you get your information. He owes the government millions in back taxes and tax fraud. |
