Should a Christian be in a relationship with a non believer? I was told that a Christian and a non believer shouldn't be in a relationship because Christians will be saved and non believer will not. I was with a girl for about a year and I didn't know that she didn't believe GOD existed. I asked her how are we gonna deal with this situation and she never talked to me again. She was a nice girl and I felt bad because she said I broke her heart but she wouldn't help me find a solution for it. I want to be Heaven and I don't want the woman I spend my life with not to be there with me. I don't believe it's a good idea but I would like to hear what others think.

No, I would not advise it.
Even Christians that are saved but never grow or want more knowledge or try to live the life is difficult. It is best to find where a person is in their life from the beginning. You are not judging but you need to be with some one like minded.
Someone that doesn't believe no, "unequally yoked".

I don't know if certain will never believe but the only people that I have seen go from non believing to believing were the ones that have had near death experiences.

That's a good point, it is probably best to try to figure out before starting a relationship with someone. I just don't want offend anyone or seem like I'm judging.

The Apostle Paul warned believers in Messiah Jesus to not be unequally yoked with non-believers.

I advise against it for the reasons stated here. I also advise against interfaith marriages. Not so much between different denominations within Christianity, but between a Christian and a non Christian. If you like someone who does accept Christ, then by all means, pursue it, but not before that. Just my suggestion. All the best to you.

I wouldn't worry about missing someone who didn't believe once you got into heaven. My understanding of heaven is that once you're there, you're so blissfully happy that you don't care about much else.

The Roman soldier who probally was not a believer Yahshua said had shown more faith than all of Israel. Yahshua ate with sinners. Said he came to save the sinner. Was very at home with Mary sister of Lazarus

He also talked about who accepts you and who does not. Is accepting you against you? I am unequally yoked or I would live in a cave. laugh

No I am not a Mormon. closer to a Messianic Jew but we are called Yahwists. Means Yahweh's Wisdom. I believe Yahshua (His actual name at birth) Did not come to change the Law but to show the true Spiritual meaning of the Law /word of Yahweh. He came as an example to us of the Love of Yahweh. He came to show the Hypocricy of the religious leaders as he will again. Who make the Law of no effect by their commandments of men power.

I think it works like this...For those who have a problem with it, it will not work...For those who are ok with it, it will work..My personal feeling is to each his own...I'm a romantic, so I think true love can cross any bridge... :-)

I've known a few couples who were Christian/Jew and they got along just fine. I've also known some Christian/Non-beliver matches that worked well also. It's only an issue if you make it an issue.

Sorry about assuming You're a Mormon, Milesoftheusa.

I'm some-what of an amateur Ecclesiologist, and I'm not aware of Yahwists as being that concept. what

I am aware of the original reference to the formal name of the Almighty God that in Hebrew, using all consonants with no vowels. (YHWH) or (JHVH)

The original pronouncement seems to be lost in antiquity, as it was so sacred to utter, nobody remembers the memorized vowels of the ancient Hebrew.

It's my belief the Almighty God, Jehovah or Yahweh, doesn't have a beginning of days and was never born.

For me, the True God always was and always will be!

Do You, confuse Yahweh with someone who was mortal?
