Belgian newspaper is in big trouble after printing a picture of Barak and Michelle Obama as Apes.

The Newspaper was forced to apologize.

The picture was photoshopped to give the idea that they were in the process of evolving from apes to humans.

According to Mr. Conservative:

The photo was taken as a racial statement rather than the satire it was intended to be.

The joke was supposed to be that Vladimir Putin had sent the picture, but needless to say, not too many people are laughing. The newspaper offered a recent apology saying, “In this case, we plead guilty of bad taste. We continue to be on the side of those that are battling any form of racism.”

What do you think – is this offensive?

I love satire and I hate Obozo but this is going to far. They maybe trying to disguise this as satire, but this was an attack on his race. It's sad it has gotten to this level.

Hell, there is enough to attack with all of his policies, his numerous failures, Numerous vacations, crimes committed and covered up while in office etc.

I couldn't upload the photo, but I can only imagine what it was.

I enjoy a good laugh as much as the next guy and I certainly do not agree with Obama's policies and handling of many, many issues.

But,

To portray him or his family as something other then what they actually are.. is not funny and dead wrong. Not to mention the personal insult to him and his family.

The man is the elected President of the United States and deserves all the respect in the world for reaching that point and addressing issues that most of us could not phantom.

His wife and family have done nothing but bring maintain the dignity of that office.

It is just plain wrong

I agree that the it was wrong to create the aforementioned image of the Obamas.

Still, I wonder if liberals and Democrats complained when President George W. Bush was depicted as a chimp.

I Believe since the caption next to it makes mention of his race, it is hard to deny a racial element to the photo. It is easy to understand the offensiveness.
