My passion - and it's sometimes more a compulsion - is variety. At a very young age I discovered that we don't have to do, be, think, experience the same thing forever and ever. And that it's ok. The word that best describes this is 'eclectic.'
There is so very much to experience. There are MANY more sides to me - and everyone else - than first meets the eye. I live, breathe, my heart beats, for no other reason than to find new experiences and opportunities. It's writing that best affords me those sorts of dalliances and excursions into the great wide world of what-may-be. I used to do it for a living. I don't anymore. Words are a gift from On High and commercializing those little critters is like tethering a buttlerfly. Cruel and unusual punishment... |
