 Well, TY esebulldog; but I noticed the resemblance right off to our newest member >SacramentAl and...well Rodney was buck arsed naked laying face down on that bear rug! There's a familiar - almost - could be related - look to their faces! IMHO  Agrees with this post.

Well, as of today,it's officially my birthday. The big 3-0. Got a doctor's appointment, then my friend and I are going to see the Avengers, and cap off the day with a steak dinner. Hopefully I'll be up to returning to work and school on Monday.

Found out one of the scrapes on my hand might be infected, but otherwise doing a little better with each day. Avengers wasn't quite as good as I was hoping but dinner was awesome. I even got a straw cowboy hat with my free ice cream.

Yeah, apparently Cattlemen's gives you a hat along with free ice cream now for your birthday. The song wasn't very good, they changed the words and the tune from what they used to sing. There's still a "Yee-Ha!" at the end, though.

The tip of my thumb is broken and I hurt all over because the hospital won't give me anything for pain. I can barely walk. I can't go to work or school, probably going to lose my job. Doesn't get any better than this. At least it wasn't a hit and run. I need some advice how to go about suing the driver too. Only a Lawyer can help you determine whether your injuries are sufficiently serious enough to sue for compensation for your injuries and all losses that you have suffered or expect to suffer as a result of your accident.Good-luck. |

I don't think a bruise will get you very far. but like another member said, you need to see a lawyer and tell them of all your injuries. |

A co-worker gave me the number of what he described sounds like a pretty good lawyer, so I'm going to get in touch with them. Wish me luck.

And yeah, but then again, who in their right mind thinks the internet is the place to go for compassion? I got a call back from the lawyer, we're meeting Friday to talk. Hopefully we have a strong case, since I'll have to give him a big cut of whatever I get. |

if your only injury was your tip of your thumb got broken, and some brusing, what are you expecting? those are minor injuries, wow a lot worse happens. why are some so quick to sue over minor injuries, I just don't get it. I was run over myself a long time ago, I got injured and it was her fault, not mine but I never thought twice about suing her. I was just thankful to be alive and still have limbs.
and if the hospital wouldn't give you any pain relief that's because your injuries don't require them, meaning they were very minor. like others said be thankful your okay, it could have been totally different. |
