Well when I got married and we started not getting along
I would not of stayed married to him. I only think of this now
in my 60s because I am a widow now. And I see I am strong and can
make it on my own.

That I don't have to say yes to every one who ask me
to help them. I can say no.

That you simply cannot write a check and expect the bank to just pay for it.

That the worst thing you think could happen does sometimes, but you survive it and move on

That life is a roller coaster ride and sometimes its good and sometimes its really hard, but its a journey and if you believe in yourself and try to be nice to others you will learn many things along the way.

That you simply cannot please everyone and that is cool. Your life is yours and you only get one shot at it. Live it.

That I should have invested in dish satellite as it WAS a "ground floor" opportunity and not a laughable scam...

That a good, decent ol girl is a pearl not a play thing...

That I wouldn't really amount to much of anything so I could have better applied my energies...

At 20? Take care of your credit score. Use credit, but sparingly. You don't want to try buying your first house with a lousy credit score, having some old stuff to "clean up" first, and getting a crappy rate just because you were STUPID!

That and MRS. is not a degree. Go to college and stay put until you finish. You can still learn from experience but without the diploma you will work harder, get paid less, do with out more, and have less credibility in the world. And that is a whole lot harder as you get older than it was when you were young.

The only true regret I have that I WOULD change if I could is to pay off the mortgage when I could have.

Don't believe what people tell you, believe what they show up.

You are so much more than the negatives that were placed on you for 20 years.

Run. And, run away fast.

what I had wished I had known when I was in my 20s

How to build an iPod, iPad, and iPhone?

How to provide unlimited energy?

How to fly?

Cindy Crawford?

Who exactly let the dogs out?
