His motive was not only a terrorist act inspired by racist White Supremacy doctrines, it was an act typical of past crimes meant to not only inspire a responce thereby starting a race war, but also, it was designed to inspire more attacks to meet the same goal. His hope was to inspire like minded racists to follow suit and kill indiscriminately Black people. This was a terrorist act by a terrorist who subscribes to an old tradition of white terrorism.

Yeah, the white terrorism that the Democratic Party condoned from the end of the U.S. Civil War to the end of the Civil Rights Era. Their political affiliation or philosophy is irrelevant considering both parties employed and benefited from jim crow laws. And both political parties went to Klan meetings and were members.

In fact, it has been widely reported that Republicans have taken contributions from White Supremacist groups. Obviously these groups feel that those eccepting contributions subscribe to their beliefs, or at the very least lean towards them.

Whenever Republicans discover that they have received money from a white-supremacist group, the Republicans return the money. If something prevents them from doing that, then they donate the money to charity. White-supremacist groups might be opposed to socialism, which would prompt them to donate to politicians who are also opposed to socialism.
