Sorry Ras, 50 accusers, law of averages, they can't all be lying bud.

Choosing to accuse someone is not a coin toss, and there is no law of averages which guarantees that one of them is telling the truth.

And they absolutely CAN all be lying.

I think he is guilty, and I also think that many (not all) of the women are lying because its a safe way to get attention.

But none of us truly know if he is guilty.

A safe way to get attention? That's just retarded IMO

Yes. Many of the accusers have been out of the spotlight for years, and now they are back in it again. They have been invited to talk shows, and they ended up on the cover of New York magazine together. And not one of them is required to provide a shred of tangible evidence before they are allowed to join the attention train.

I lean towards believing the earliest and most consistent accusers are telling the truth, and I also lean towards believing that at least a few of the women who later came out of the woodwork are just taking advantage of the opportunity.

Of course, I wasn't there, so the only thing I know for sure is that in 2015 the media is exploiting this spectacle in every way possible.

There are no guaranties period, the law of average i'm talking about is the fact that not all of these women are money grubbing liars out to ruin some innocent entertainers legacy.

That's your belief, and maybe its a perfectly reasonable belief, but there is NO law of averages which guarantees your belief is correct.

I'm sorry but it just cannot be that 50 women are doing this in sync to a really swell guy.

It might not be the case, but it most certainly could be the case.

Allred slams Wayans for calling Cosby accusers 'unrapeable'
CONFIDENTIAL
MARIANNE GARVEY, BRIAN NIEMIETZ AND OLI COLEMAN AND RACHEL MARESCA.

Lawyer Gloria Allred didn’t mince her words as she blasted Damon Wayans over his recent comments about Bill Cosby’s accusers being “unrapeable.”

“Disgusting, uninformed,” Allred told Confidenti@l on Wednesday during a party at the Museum of the City of New York celebrating iconic model, and Cosby accuser, Beverly Johnson’s memoir “The Face That Changed It All.”

“Rape is not about what a woman or a child looks like,” said Allred, who represents many Cosby accusers, including Johnson. “ It’s obviously about the power and the control that is exercised by the rapist who does it for those reasons.”

Johnson, for her part, shrugged off Wayans’ comments.

“We live in America so he’s entitled to his opinion, as well as I'm entitled to my opinion,” she said.

Meanwhile, Johnson says Bill Cosby doesn’t need to admit to drugging her. She’s moved on.

“I’ve already forgiven him,” Johnson said.

The 62-year-old Buffalo native, who became the first black model to appear on the cover of Vogue in 1974, adds that “I don’t need to be vindicated by anybody.”

Johnson’s biggest literary achievement to date was a December 2014 Vanity Fair article recalling an incident in the mid-’80s when Cosby allegedly drugged her during a fake “audition.”

“One of the things I was looking forward to — but scared — was telling my encounter with Bill Cosby,” she said.

Though Johnson wrote that chapter for her book, she says her editors initially rejected it out of fear that Cosby’s aggressive legal team would sue them.

Then in 2014, while watching models Barbara Bowman and Janice Dickinson talk about their encounters with Cosby on TV, Johnson reached out to billionaire Sheila Johnson for advice.

“(Sheila) said ‘just be true to yourself’ and ergo, Vanity Fair. Everyone else said not to do it. She was right. And I took my power back.”

Though Johnson says she escaped Cosby’s clutches before the drugs rendered her helpless, her Vanity Fair article helped open a floodgate that saw 50 accusers come forward to say that Cosby had drugged and sexually abused them. It also encouraged her publisher to put the chapter back in the memoir.

“It wasn’t until after that I got called back from my editors saying ‘You know that chapter about Cosby? We need it right away because we’re closing the book and need to put that in,’ ” she says. And the rest is her-story.

On Wednesday night, tastemakers including Calvin Klein, Annie Leibovitz, Carol Alt, Cheryl Tiegs, Tyra Banks and Diane von Furstenberg topped the list of VIPs celebrating Johnson’s tome at the Salamander Hotels & Resorts-sponsored shindig on the Upper East Side. Her legacy clearly won’t be defined by Bill Cosby.

“I can give myself a pat on the shoulder every once in a while,” she says.

Beverly Johnson forgives Bill Cosby

Beverly Johnson has found it in her heart to forgive Bill Cosby.

It’s unlikely that the supermodel, 62, will ever get the chance to offer this sentiment to the disgraced comic whom she has accused of drugging her in the mid-1980s.

“I forgive you,” Johnson said when “Good Morning America” co-host Amy Robach asked her what she’d say to Cosby if given the opportunity.

But as she immediately made clear, that doesn’t mean she’s ready to completely let the once-beloved entertainer off the hook.

“I’m going to leave that to the Justice Department,” she said when Robach asked her what she thought should happen to Cosby. “I just feel that he’s a lightning rod for a much bigger conversation, and that conversation would be the rape culture in America.”
Johnson is one of dozens of women to come forth and accuse Cosby of having assaulted them over the decades.

She first detailed the incident in a first-person essay for Vanity Fair last December, describing how the comedian had her over to his Manhattan brownstone twice to read for a part on “The Cosby Show.” The second time he drugged a cappuccino he made for her, she says, though she was able to escape before he could do worse.

Johnson said she never came forward out of fear of what the very powerful Cosby would do to her in return.

“In the end, just like the other women, I had too much to lose to go after Bill Cosby,” she wrote. “I had a career that would no doubt take a huge hit if I went public with my story.”

The model talked about the incident more as part of New York magazine’s incredibly powerful package about the comedian’s many victims in July.

“The part of it I wasn’t prepared for was the onslaught of women that have been assaulted and them telling me their story because I told mine,” she told the magazine.

A Black Ohio College, Removes Bill Cosby's Name From Building.
News Herald, Sept.12 ,2015

WILBERFORCE (AP) - A historically black college in southwest Ohio says it is permanently removing the name of comedian Bill Cosby from its communications building.

In a statement Friday, Central State University in Wilberforce says the Camille O. & William H. Cosby Communications Center has been renamed the CSU Communications Center. The school had been temporarily covering Cosby's name since July while it made a final decision.

The Cosby family has donated more than $2 million to the university.

Cosby has been the target of sexual assault allegations by dozens of women. He has acknowledged that he obtained quaaludes with the intent of giving them to women before sex.

Central State President Cynthia Jackson-Hammond had called circumstances surrounding the comedian's situation "troublesome and disappointing to all."

I think he's guilty but I have a problem with A&E airing this.

it kinda gives some weight to those who say it's a money grab.

They could have waited till after the deposition? oct 9th?
