The place where you unwind....is it peaceful or hectic?

 Oh, that kind of spot. I like the peace and quiet of my room.

Humm since I live alone just me and my dog it is always peaceful.... normally kick back in my office with my feet up. And get online while watching comedy shows...
But then my life is pretty peaceful... don't do the drama thing...  Years ago when I had horses it was when I went riding... nothing better then out riding.. I do miss having horses..

My front porch swing. I have kids so when they're around its a different kind of hectic. I wouldn't trade it for all the calm in the world.

Where I live now in the country, its so quiet except for the river rushing by.Watching All the wild life Ospreys, beavers,otters, gators, water moccasins,,just sitting on my deck or by my fire pit is so relaxing.

On a Saturday afternoon, and on Sunday Nights, on a pool table. That is where I unwind, relieve stress thru practicing my game, keep my eyes and mind focused, make a few bucks at the same time. I am that good!!!! There is nothing better, (The Mind Game)....

Yes..isn't it great to find that peaceful spot to each his own...my peaceful spot is when I am out exploring my backyard because there is complete quiet in this pristine wilderness no sounds of machinery humming! Thanks again for such candid replies!

I'm almost always at my peaceful spot, my home and/or my garden. I sometimes have to kick myself out of the house to get me some hustle and bustle.
If I couldn't unwind in my own home ... I'd go nuts! Been there before when I didn't have any space for myself, teenage kids at home still... Then I got my own little room, and boy was I happy! My retreat, safe haven. But now the entire house is my retreat. I have another small meditation room upstairs, but I don't often sit there. |

No.. I rented him from the dog pound for the day.. so I could take some pictures.. they say in all the dating books...a pet makes you look more responsible and lovable.... like you know how to care for something else besides yourself.... I would have kept him but I think he has fleas...lmfao...of. course that's my dog... that's my love ..milo....milo.. is short for my love...milo
