Topic: I can't seem to find someone in my church

Hi all. I can't seem to find a man in my church, I don't want to meet people through other common methods, and I don't believe in church hopping. I just want to meet some one who isn't unequally yoked, that is dangerous

Maybe you should reconsider. People have been meeting their mates at Church since they began. It is a good place to find someone of similar values. If your Church doesn't have men of the right age and availability then it is no sin to go to one that might. Besides, you never know what other fun you might have have meeting new people.

Aw I just love my church, I have tried others, but finding a church home that suits your personality and spiritual growth is hard, their are to many business churches and not enough spirit lead churches, I can't be in a church where I cannot see God moving

Great idea Ana You could start your own Christian single group where you are not matching up but meeting together to do things This way you can open it up to the community. Also seek God to where he wants you to be be open to his leading. Sometimes what we want and what is planned could be two different things

well, I have not found anyone who shares my beliefs and have a marriage proposal from a man I do care about alot and who makes me smile. I think that will have to be enough just to love him anyway and it is up to him if he wants to keep a good wife like me as he has said he is not a christian but acted better than my ex who says he was and hurt us

Pray...seek God's mind. Not the easy way out but it is absolutely important.

I have my church that I go to. my beliefs are not housed in the church itself. when friends invite me to accompany them to different churches sometimes and I have found many of our core beliefs are similar. there are many marriages in my family where the religious preference is not the same but the teachings are similar. these relationships appear more solid than some where the couple attends the same church, perhaps because they learn to understand each other. I agree with those who have said pray and be open to God's plan.

I just want to meet some one who isn't unequally yoked, that is dangerous I wouldn't change churches just in the hope of finding a man. I believe God put us in the church where we can serve him best. If your church has 2 services you could go to yours in the morning and try different churches in the evening. It's what I do sometimes as my church doesn't have an evening service and I feel it's a nice way to end a Sunday anyway.
