ladies why so serious everyone wants "serious"? I don't do serious before coffee.

I have seen that on men's profiles also..
I guess it is a statement to mean. Don't contact me unless you are serious about having a relationship. Which to me is like shooting yourself in the foot.. How do I know I want to be serious about that person til I get to know them. OR Maybe it sounds better than.. Hey I am going to date you for fun and giggles so don't get attached.. Who knows really... |

well keep his^^^ thought in mind miss rains I am not trying to be nit picky.. I just think that many IMHO makes internet dating so hard and then some people get down and depressed because it didn't work for them. I sure don't have all the answers I only know what works for me

I think people right serious, because so many just want to mess around and there hopefully trying to avoid people like that.
As for myself I don't say that straight away even though I am looking for something serious. I like to get to know him first and see if it leads somewhere and into something serious. It really pays to get to know someone first from my experience because no way would I have got serious with some men I've met.

debbie you just hit the nail on the head. these sites are the put you in contact with people to get to know so you can maybe get to the kind of together you want. they are not a mail order catalog

ladies why so serious everyone wants "serious"? I don't do serious before coffee. i think they are using that in the hopes that it will limit the scammers , players , cheaters , etc etc etc but best bet would be to ask them what they mean by it : )
