Sorry, but I don't see the justification for lethal I do. The first cop yells "Drop the gun" at about the :16 mark. So unless hes flat out lying, there IS a firearm. force on this video. No one is waiting for the situation to maybe It wouldve cooled down if McDole would "put his hands up" as he was ordered to do several times. cool down. In a number of these videos, the elapsed time It was almost a minute between the first command and the volley of shots. And, at abt the :48 mark, the video-er even states that McDole is "reaching again". (Although, Im still confused abt the first shot early on in the video. It was followed by the "drop the gun" comment so maybe there was justification for it also.) seems to be 5-10 seconds between yelling a command, In this case the victim pushes himself up in the I saw him reach for his lap before the volley of shots. Was there a gun there? Idk...its a poor video. Im not, again, going to condemn several cops vs a known criminal with a history of resisting arrest charges based on a $hitty video. chair several times, so we know both hands are gripping the arm rests, and he can't have a weapon in either one. As much as some hate to admit it, those cops deserve to go home alive. How about dumbazz criminals do wtf theyre ordered to do and live to fight it another day if they think theyre wronged? I realize this isnt a popular sentiment to have according to some, but IDGAF.... Maybe, just maybe, this was suicide by cop....its a good a guess as any based on a crappy video. Of course, this is all JMO based on said crappy video....and Im open to anymore evidence. And potential cop phone video-ers...landscape mode, use it yes~~~~mummy said we need to save every one in the world.....so do not doubt about anything of this event one polioce sacrifice his life will proving that we all full of love......mixed with the pie.......... |

and then they could have assumed he had a gun without waiting for any verification SIMPLY because the caller said he did,,, Ive had the pleasure, for 25 years, to answer emergency calls...not as a cop mind you, but as a fire/medic....and I cant begin to tell you how wrong initial dispatches were.....same thing happens everday with cops. You expect one thing from the. dispatch call...and end up with something totally different. But the OP article is misleading as all hell.....the wheelchair doesnt mean jack $hit. Worst regiular patient I ever had was in a wheelchair....mean ol man who fell out of the chair abt 3 times a week who would then cuss us like a sailor when we showed up to help. Buts lets hope for a fair investigation of this particular incident. Ill gladly go back on my initial assesssment if there is evidence to do so....but that video and accompanying article aint it. the wheelchair makes a difference because it lessens the threat to accurately fire a gun, don't you need AT LEAST one hand? and to operate a chair, don't you need TWO? so how was this person a threat before even AIMING any weapon,,,when there is cover the police can take?,, what? Is he going to wheel his way into a line of fire and take a shot all before they can pull their firearm?.....not likely |

This reminds me of a 911 caller telling dispatch there's an armed man in walmart pointing a weapon at people.
Cops went in guns drawn and shot that poor guy dead. He was holding a pellet gun and never pointed it at anyone |

to accurately fire a gun, don't you need AT Yes.... LEAST one hand? and to operate a chair, don't you need TWO? No....they can be locked down very simply....and free both hands....and if its on a level surface, it doesnt even need to be locked down....it doesnt just roll around all willy nilly

Also, the officer didn't identify himself, not before the victim was deceased. He was in uniform, but the guy in the wheel chair wasn't vocally or physically responsive so you can't exactly say that he knew what was going on. He was pretty much just sitting there for about 5-6 seconds and the cop shot him. 'GIVE ME YOUR HANDS! SHOW ME YOUR HANDS! Was all he said before he shot him, and roughly 35 seconds later when the guy lifted himself up in the wheel chair was the first real movement (no pun intended) of any kind.
Ok, he could have been in shock, but the officer could have walked right up to him and put cuffs on him, before or after shooting him. You can call a dead witness to the stand but they don't say much. I have been in the wrong place at the wrong time and had a shotgun drawn on me by an officer. I didn't yell because he snuck up beside the car and put the barrel to my temple, but I said wtf IMMEDIATELY. Not the first time that's happened to me. The first word out of his mouth wasn't 'POLICE!' or 'FREEZE' but eventually when they figured out the girl I was with in the two seater weren't the getaway car for the golden corral robbery across the street and that we were both active duty military with no criminal records they identiftied themselves and were kind enough to move us to a gas station a few hundred feet away where they held us hostage for 6 hours. |

After all has been said and done...
As per the alleged 911 call, had the cripple really shot himself? Did the cripple have a gun, as reported, in his possession? A gun, with his fingerprints on it, and on the ammunition it was loaded with? Not a "drop gun" planted on the scene, by officers trying to cover their @sses. Not much challenge in subduing a catatonic cripple. Especially, after the initial shotgun blast to the chest. Was the justification for the hail of gunfire that followed, an illegally parked wheelchair? Seriously... Wtf? I normally side with law enforcement. But, the way this is looking... The parents of the post natal abortions with badges, should be slapped, for failing to use better birth control. |

I'd like to see forensics on a self inflicted wound matching that set of brass NOT matching the shotgun 9mm or .45acp's the cops had. Without tampering... God forbid the crime lab looses the evidence. |

They should put the wheel chair in an art display next to the Michael Brown torso on the ground one. Art is good :)

They should put the wheel chair in an art display next to the Michael Brown torso on the ground one. Art is good :) They should portray the victim mid-slump falling out of the chair with the $#it stained boxers. That would capture the emotion of their audience. |
