Let's see. I can build a house either by code or as needed. Can always provide shelter.
Mechanically savvy, cars, air conditioning/heating, appliances. Teaching my grandson manners. How to be responsible with his toys and toward other children and adults. Say prayers with him every nigh at supper and bed time. Work with him on his home work. If I haven't fixed it before, I will try to find a way to learn how to do it. I teach outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking, what nature and tracks are trying to tell us.

I cook, clean, I can bake, wash and dry the dishes, do all the yard work, and much much more. But as some would see me as just another male that isn't good for anything, their loss... Sorry, but I come from a family and and era that taught us differently. Let's not forget another important one, I am a serious foe to those that would think about harming someone I care about! 20 years in the military, discilpline God and a moral compass.

What do we need men for?

Each person is unique, so I can only speak for myself.

I do not need a man. It would be nice to find one who wouldn't follow me, nor would I follow him, but walk next to me, with our pasts behind us, looking forward while choosing the same direction on this journey called life.

So destiny made me single again, but didn't turn me into a sprinter or a marathon runner. I enjoy a nice walk by the lake on my own.
