I think Carolina's going to win, because they have the more complete team. Both have good defenses, but Denver's offense is more suspect.
That said, I am rooting for the Broncos just to shut all the Peyton haters up. Oh, Eli's got 2 rings, Peyton only has 1. Peyton's lost more superbowls than anyone else. He's great in the regular season but just can't perform in the post season...shut up! Peyton Manning is a great qb, who has led a long a successful career with absolutely no defensive support. That has been the only thing that has held him back from winning championships. |

I just looked at this, it starts at 11-30pm our time, too late for me. Can someone please give me an understanding of the rules, just the basics, not a trilogy  4 attempts to move the ball 10 yards for the right to try get 4 more attempts(downs). ultimate goal put the ball in the end zone and score 6 points for a touchdown 4th down option to kick the ball deeper into enemy territory (so they can try the same). ball can be moved by running it in hand or passing it to someone else catch it and run with it. half way between rugby and soccer |

I really like the whole game ... and Gaga and 1/2 time show ... I just thought someone should have told Newton he was not the only player on his team ... know wonder he wore himself out ... but better for the Broncos win ... but both teams made some good plays ... I started to go to a sports bar but was not sure if it was going to start to snow ... living out in the country can make driving difficult ... but was a exciting game ...

They seem to get all the glory (and chicks) They also throw the ball about 3 miles down the pitch, can the guy catching it not be offside, like in football, soccer It sounds similar to Rugby reading what you say. |

the famous quarterback is the ring leader. he is the one who starts it all at the beginning of the play and makes the pass or hands off to the guy that gets to run through the pile of bodies at the line of scrimmage.
once the ball is in play there is no off sides. that is reserved for be fore the ball is snapped and the play begins |

Only in American football the formation is a line and the ball is snapped to the QB by the Center....Whereas in a scrum, when that ball is heeled out, the scrum half is the only player allowed to pick up the ball and pass it to the next guy.....The game of rugby has changed a lot since I last played...so I really dont know if it is still played in that manner..just saying..
