I think theres a few things that make a relationship work, if im right, maybe

1. same beliefs - both people can have all the same hobbies and likes, but its core i think to have at least the same veiws ethically and morally, as well as spiritually, the deep stuff.

2. good communication - you simply HAVE to know if everything is good or not, if not, who knows. it IS a relationship. :o)

3. ambition/drive - this isn't "success" like ambition, its waking up everyday finding what else could be better, what is bad? is something off? its not a matter of balancing your lifestyle, its being a paragon of humanity and whatever role in marriage you fill. drive simply helps push things forward. no relationship stagnates, it either fulfills, or rots and decays.

of course i haven't dated AT ALL, so take all with a 3 ton truck full of salt

What's important in a relationship?

Everything at some point and to some degree changing and flowing from important to not important depending on things like change, knowledge, and experience?

For character is everything

Character takes a long time experiencing a lot of extreme situations to fathom.

Relationships are developed way before a persons character is known or really understood.

It can't be everything.

Otherwise you wouldn't have a relationship with someone until years after you started interacting with them and experiencing things together.

Depends on what the relationship is of course.

But mostly, just as people are living natural things, relationships between them are too. They are simultaneously crafted by the participants, and inherently organic at the same time.

That means that although you can work on them, and try to make things happen as you wish, relationships will always go their own way.

1. Pre-nup.
2. Separate bank accounts.
3. His and her own bathrooms.
4. She needs a big azz walk in closet.
5. Man cave.
6. For her, a monthly mani/pedi at the spa.
7. And this is most important......act like kids from time to time so you don't one day wake up wanting to kill one another.
