Someone I'm no longer friends with once proposed to me that an interesting evaluation on your current condition is to adopt the perspective that the problems, people, and situations that you were obsessed with two years ago are not probably ongoing issues.

Now, this obviously does not apply to medical conditions, but I think this is fair enough in a lot of other cases.

I am not dating the same people as two years ago, living in the same state, driving the same car, et al...

So my question that I'm proposing is not what issues from two years ago you no longer worry about, but this -

In two years' time, what do you want to be able to say that you don't have worry about anymore, that you're worried about today?

Hummm.. I have a 2 week philosophy. No problem lasts more than two weeks.
Small or large the details change.
The problem no longer exists or there is a new one (s).

As far a health, I guess not.

I'm hoping that in the next two years, I'll be able to live with my best friend. I can't guarantee it will happen, but I know how important they are to me. We used to live together, so I already know what they're like to live with.

Living the life I have worked hard for.
Enjoying meeting new and interesting people.

I am not worried about tomorrow's problems they can take care of themselves.

Why stress over something that is not worth it.

Live for today and be happy.

I'm not worried about anything. Why worry? Be happy. Dont sweat the small things, and most things are small things. Sometimes I worry about things like having to do housework/cleaning, (I hate housework/cleaning) but once I start in, I realize that I had made the chore seem much bigger than it really is by procrastinating. Ha!
