"Sexting" is like everything else with people.

Nothing is either "good" or "bad" in and of itself. Not even love or sex.

My answer then, is that your effort to get an outside-of-the-relationship consensus ruling, is in error. Even if it isn't a trick to try to get women to allow you to ask them for nude pics, it's a mistake to ask for a general rule.

It's again, like everything else: if both people like it and are good at it, they might have fun doing it. If both people don't like it or aren't both good at it, then probably not.

And by the way, since every day it seems we are learning that pictures you THINK are going to disappear as soon as someone logs off, are actually sitting on a server somewhere, ready to be hacked and downloaded, then I would say "always including nude pics" is probably unwise.

That depends on who is in the pictures.

I think for couples, flirting with each other including sexting, keeps the relationship fun, hot and sexy. Woohoo!

For total strangers who just met in the internet? I think most decent women, including moi, would not like it.

Since digital security is a total joke I personally think it is the dumbest move a person could make in or out of a relationship.

I know what my lover's "stuff" looks like and have a vivid (pleasureable) memory that does not need to be suplimented with words or photo's when he is not available.

My preference is not to be reved up when I can't be actionable so always considered it kind of abusive rather than sexy.

Was it, is it, nice for him to tell me he can not wait to be together? Yes that is very nice to hear and reassureing that he is still thinking of me as I do him.
