When does physical attraction stop being so important?

How and when do you start feeling the need for learning to find that passion comes in all areas and forms?

OR DO YOU?

It is never just physical attraction for me. Someone can look like Adonis, if there's no other click, I'm not interested. I need a mental click, emotional click too.

And when does it get less important, hopefully it remains. If you're partner isn't all that attractive to you anymore physically, I'd say something is wrong / missing.
I think maybe it's more important to understand that physical attraction is not limited to a perfect or near perfect body. If that was the case, hardly anyone of us would ever find a partner and love and lasting happiness.

Got to be attracted to them then you have to have that connection or it is a no go no matter what they look like.. whoa

It's happens from the beginning. Right from the first spark.. physical is such a small part of the package to me. That I don't even think about it. I have to have the whole package.
One of the first things that drew me to Pancho was his sense of humour, then his intellect way before I even clicked on his profile and saw his great pictures. Hence the attraction had already started, then the voice was the clincher for me. Rofl...Everything else was extra toppings for me I was already attracted.

There are two times when physical attraction stops being important.

1) When you are no longer interested in sex, which doesn't happen all that often for men.

2) When you finally except that no one you find physically attractive will ever have sex with you unless you pay them and you do as they said in the Bachman Turner Overdrive song Ain't Seen Nothin Yet and you took what you could get.

physical attraction becomes more important when I get older. I want mutual attraction and no wasted time. I kissed a few guys I didn't like. Chemistry, attraction, need to have similar interests and values in life.

I don't think the physical attraction stops but it becomes less important with age.

When does physical attraction stop being so important?

The minute he opens his mouth.

It never ceases to play a part.

And save for a minority of people, and usually only for a relatively short period of time, it's never EVERYTHING.

For example, I am convinced, no matter what, that no matter how charming, supportive, honest, friendly, loyal and eager for sensual pleasure they may be...

I will NEVER be attracted to any male.

When does physical attraction stop being so important?

In what context?

Trying to find someone to date?
Like "when you're a kid and you're all 'she's hot, I'd bang her,' but when does physical attraction stop being so important?"

Dating someone?
Like "OMG! She's so hot, we're banging all the time, but is it or can it be more? When does physical attraction stop being so important?"

In a relationship with someone?
Like "we're getting older, I don't exercise as much, and neither does she, we don't seem to care, but I never noticed the change. When does physical attraction stop being so important?"

Commercially?
Like "When I was a kid I wanted a Ferrari, they looked so awesome. Now I drive a beat up F-150 and I love my truck. When does physical attraction stop being so important?"

How and when do you start feeling the need for learning to find that passion comes in all areas and forms?

I don't know, your question isn't clear.

Other than that, "physical attraction" is just a part of the process of mate identification, part of the ROI human beings do to find the best one, with the highest chance of success, for the least amount of risk.

I don't know what step in the process you're focusing on.
Stranger? Dating? Commitment? Relationship maintenance? Appetite fulfillment? Ego extension?

I don't pay much attention to someone's physical aspect.

it all comes down to meeting of both minds.
and am not merely talking about on the intellectual level.

I favoured great laughter out of silly conversation.
someone you can talk with about anything and everything without being judgemental.
