lady's I totally understand that you love your little ones. mad props for that. but let's get real for a moment. there too many bad people in the world. people who live kids.....so to protect the little ones, the lil ones should not be on pics in daring sites anywhere. hate me for being honest and right. but this is the reality of our day and age.

yup ... keep the kids out of your life while doing the date thingy.

Also .. you do NOT want to put the picture in your childrens head of a bunch of guys running through mommies life cause you are a romance addict.

Same same ... for guys .. do not put the picture in your kids head of a bunch of girls running through daddies life cause you are sex addict.

Yes, I do agree that kids should be kept apart from the private life of their parents. There's no point in posting images of your kids on dating sites. It's not a place for children. Even here I don't answer men who are my kids' age :))))

This idea comes up over and over but the reality in today's world your child's picture I'd everywhere so your child is less vulnerable here than they are wandering around a department store.

Should parents be smart enough not to give strangers their personal email and phone number or take anyone they have not well researched "home" not only YES but Have you lost your mind YES!!!!!!! Meet people in secure public places and do your homework on the people are a risk.

Those with children should be upfront about having kids; at least put the age range of the ones at home so you don't waste your time, money, and emotional energy on people who don't want a family. That is more of a risk to your kids.

In the real world our children are being watched more than not. In traffic, in stores, at school, in parks, via satellite, and what
many tend to ignore on so called filtered devices that kids know how to get around than their parents.

What Patents need to do as Mich as possible is communicate to children of about how easy it is to capture a photo and how modesty is smart
That and the responsibility for people who do something vulgar with pictures sets ONLY on the perpetrators not the victims.

We can and I think DTP nistimg on bicts of cre like they fif something to deserve it. When they haven't.

I understand the idea behind this topic.

But this statement of keeping your kids out of your life???

If you plan to he in a relationship with anyone who has kids, they are part of the package.

I found that if my children knew the people in my life weather extended family, employers/co workers', neighbors, friends, and yes dates it was not nearly the big deal that being secretive and making some big production out of a couple hours away from home with another adult while they were in the excellent care of others.
Or we were all doing something in a community setting which was a common occurance with all the activities we were in and other families we associated with.

If and when those outings became repetitive and the relationship significant there was no traumatic reveal or intrusion. I would not have even considered dating someone my kids would not have liked. Or liked them. That would just be too complicated. And unnecessary. Single parents are hardly rare or are segregated from general society.

While my children were well raided with socially appropriate manners from an early age I didn't just wear them out dragging them around to jump at the whim of some last minute date that I would have considered an insult even if my children's were not part of the process.

You only have the respect you demand as a single person;male or female. If you allow someone to be sloppy with your time or act like they are doing you some big favor to go out with you it should be a clue to drop them like a rock. They are selfish and deserve to be alone.

My Own Opinion.
Not implying it is anyone else's opinion either.
It also doesn't concern me if you agree with it or not.

The dating sites are there for adults to find adults.
While our children are always imporatnt parts of our lives, this is a dating site.

Your profile pic is there to allow someone else to have a look at YOU to help them decide if YOU are interesting enough to try to get to know.

Kids are a package deal. An assumed acceptance.

Are your kids in your dating profile as a lure or are you needing to exemplify your parenthood?
Children are not objects to be used to lure someone.

I'm looking for a woman.
I look at the picture and read the profile.
I read if they have children and if they are living with or not.

The candidates I consider are around my age.
There is a higher chance they have children, than don't.
Its not about their children.
I'm not interested in dating their children.
I'm interested in getting to know the adult in the profile.

Same goes with pets.
I'm not looking to meet your pet, I'm looking to meet you.
Children, pets, cars, bikes, ect, are something that comes with meeting YOU but will never be the focus of my search.

If you feel you need to post your children's picture on your dating profile, do it as an additional photo.

Better yet, when we start talking, and you get to telling me about your kids, then show me a picture of them.

I would never put my kids faces on a web sit like this..never.. if need be, use some other kids faces or the ones that are in new wallets... use those kids faces.. clearly they don't give a s%%t who sees their mug.
